i enjoy seeing the humble honest workings of a small family farm it reminds me of my grandpa.s dairy in the early 80-90,s he had 65-70 cows and lived and farmed his way the simple way work hard work for what you want never bought anything on credit and you hand shake was your deal if he ever had to buy anything i miss putting in hay and sunday dinners great videos as always and merry christmas and happy new yr to your family

I always enjoy seeing your smaller farm operation. You can see a lot of large farms and fancy tractors on youtube, but when I go out to the country or help my Dad's cousin on his farm, this is more the kind of farming I see. It feels more genuine a lot of the time. :)

A St. Bernard is happiest when it's below freezing and snowy. You have a nice setup. I love listening to the sounds of the cows and the bells. Thank you for sharing. Stay safe and God bless.

Continue to enjoy your videos. Love your dog. Is a St. Bernard as gentle as they look? Anyone know? Also very interesting as usual to go along with you to do the chores. Say hi to Mason. Glad to see him again. Must have been a weekend. Appreciate everyone's contribution to the stories.
And the cattle are so beautiful. Know that sounds strange, but they have such personalities and are so curious. Do think the Brown Swiss are the best looking, though. I should like the Holstein colors, since the school I went to had black and white as their colors.(long time ago). Hope you are all keeping warm. We seem to be having a fair amount of temperature fluctuation. Take care.

We tried to order a new Bobcat from our local dealer and they first said maybe by next April and now they can't even put an order in. Always seems like there is as much work to do in the winter as there is in the summer. I know I can figure an extra hour on a cold winter morning on the dairy I work on because there is always something frozen or there is a cow down. Or something won't start. Love this channel. It's exactly how I would like to be making my living. I miss the daily routine of milking and the chores. I have my steers, my sheep and my horses and I still get to milk cows twice a week. I still get to plant a little bit of corn and I put up about 5000 bales of hay. I'm grateful that part of my day is mine.

you have it too easy! Let me tell you about a cold start! when it was -20 for days, you had to hand crank the old JD B, you put a smudge pot under the oil pan to heat the oil up while you run the barn cleaner, then you would move the smudge pot under the trans. to warm that up so you could go spread! Good times!! What kind of barn cleaner do you have? I'd like to see how it works!

All nicely organized. The feed rations for the dairy cows - corn(milled?) with hay, etc. for an abundance of milk. 🌟🌟👏👏 Liked all the equipment being used, labor saving and time saved too. It is good to see you all. Really enjoyed your work - your brother, your dad. Thank you. 😊

We used our manure spreader to put down bedding... I think you guys are good enough operators to back your spreader wagon to the back of your barn there and make a nice slow pass spreading bedding on the way out? Kinda helps to cleanout your spreader as well.
