I went this Monday, I told them I wanted a space for a day, I did not want to camp for the night, they said ok you still have to pay 56 dollars, I went ahead and paid it cause I had never been and we already had stuff to cook and kids were set. I was excited to see the lake to find out that the access is closed to cars and pedestrians, over priced if you ask me...
Stay away. This place is not run well. Dogs off leashes,loud music,drunk drivers in golf carts. Its a shame its so unruly. Manager and employees have no control. Music and parties well past 10pm. Stay away if you want peace and quiet for a weekend.
Wow!Since I wasn’t staying there, I did not see any of that. when were you staying there? I wonder if there was some sort of event/group during that time that were so unruly?
No groups. Just a few bad apples. The real let down came when customer relations did nothing to solve the problem. I believe if we did not leave this would have escalated to a big problem.
By the way. KOA returned my money. Instead of handling the problem and making them apply and follow the rules. They would rather lose money than address a unruly camper. Should tell you a lot. I read a post on yelp about a single mother being harassed by some drunk camper and they did nothing. Please read through the posts . Save your family from a bad experience.
