God I love you Nicole you're so supportive and kind to the ones arrested! It's so clear to see when her teaching comes into play, and it seems to actually help MORE. Maybe police need an education degree too??
Las Vegas jail officers appear to be well trained, especially with their communication skills and caring attitude than the jails seen.
I lived there in the 90’s. Got arrested by NHP for disobeying an officer for riding my mt, bike on the strip with no headlight or reflectors. He followed my friend and I and when we thought he was gone started riding again, he called for back up and got us. Spent 4 days in there. No toothbrush, soap or anything else. The cell was so packed you couldn’t even take two steps. When we were finally called the judge laughed asked us if we learned anything and let us go.
The cops, then, were complete and utter j offs. They’d come in the cell once a day, make us stand on the bench and the trustee guys would hose the floor down and squeegee it to the drain.
All the T.P. was being used as pillows, not that you could do anything but pee, since 20-25 guys were watching you, since the TV was right above the half wall toilet.

You can tell Nichole has an education degree. Her teaching skills come out to these people in jail. Maybe she’s making a difference to some of them. She certainly tries. An excellent employee. A great candidate for a promotion for Clark County! Compliments to the sheriff who staff the jail with excellent, special employees. They are really true professionals.

I really enjoy watching the LV Clark County Jail personnel. They are very professional and seemingly properly staffed. Oklahoma County(one of the worst jails in the country) could learn a lot from Clark County and others.

That girl that was arrest for prostitution's story was so sad. She was behind the starting line from day one. It is so sad that people grow up in that situation with no one to love them. It just continues a never ending cycle.

That was very hopeful that the officer steered the woman to the church worker who suggested a transitional type housing. I hope the young woman is sincere about going straight. She sounds like she lacks an education. Maybe if she got an honest job and some help, she'll create a new life. I was chief psychologist of a state prison system and the default thinking is to be very cynical about people with a criminal record. Because most of them do not go straight.

She is doing her job. Just because she's a jail guard doesn't mean she can't talk to the inmates and encourage them. By the way she's very good at what she does. She can get some inmates to calm down and talk to them when no one else can.

That wasn't a Chaplain, she was a preacher. Chaplains in public organizations are non-denominational and nondiscriminatory. It is fine to offer prayer, but quite different to push it.
She's an ordained minister and chaplain. Chaplains have to have ordination papers and training to be a chaplain. She is not fake. I don't know where you got it in your head that they have to be non-denominational because they have to be ordained. Their denomination ordains them.
