@@LaneDrifters just my opinion, EMPIRE by ogryzek would go better with TEMPLE if we consider melody wise. Well, it all depends upon the listener. And if you ever plan on making a mashup with TEMPLE (not necessarily the one i mentioned) i suggest you go for the slowed version. Will sound good.

@@LaneDrifters oh youre welcome! But you're wrong at one point tho. I don't actually have very much knowledge about music. I can say that i have like a relatively better instinct to make suggestions? Idk how to describe this, it just suddenly clicks in my mind after hearing, like adjusting a particular part somehow differently would make it sound better. And yeah, one thing i always focus on are the beats and pitch. Mashuping different songs always come with a challenge of matching the bpm and the pitch, otherwise they sound weird. But you're doing an excellent job in this aspect. Just keep this in mind in case of adding the vocals as in this mashup. Other than that, one more important thing is the coordinantion between the songs. You're already doing a great job improving in this aspect which is very commendable👏. There's just this one thing in your mashups that bug me sometimes. It's not something major, but as i have been listening to many of your mashups, i think you might have not realised about this aspect. I noticed that between the intervals when you switch from one beat to another, many times a particular beat has an odd no. of repitition (like 3 or 5 times). If you can manage to make it 4 or 6 times instead, it'd create a difference. Well maybe you didn't get this point very well. If i find a part with the flaw i mentioned in any of your future mashups, I'll timestamp it. You'll understand better that way. As i said before, i don't have much music knowledge so i couldn't explain like in prefessional music terms.

Well being really honest I started mixing up songs from this April and it’s completely fine if you call me a newbie because that’s what I am . Just as you explained I mix the songs by listening to the beats and try adjusting that which hears good to the ears. I am definitely trying to improve but yeah I think slowly I’ll get to perfection one day. I can pinpoint a perfect mashup of what you’re trying to say here which I completely get. It’s my mashup of Next X Swerve. I looped a part more then it was needed which made it sound like it was unnecessarily repeated. For you I’ll be uploading the clean version of ROUGH with out the aa aa and slowing down the Jericho version by 0.1X . Please do tell was it okay or not ? 😏
