In this video I use my Big Tex dump trailer and John Deere 790 to restore a gravel driveway for a customer. This was a full day job as I hauled all the gravel myself. Driveway maintenance is a great way to practice using your box scraper as well as various tractor techniques. Total for this project was $950. What size dump trailer do you have? And how many yards or tons of gravel can you get into it?

It is a 7x14, 14k trailer. I don’t like to haul more than 5 tons of gravel. I just don’t like to put the wear and tear on it because I use it so much. I have put 6 tons in it before but can hear it struggle a little to lift it.
