I feel incredibly privileged for having found this channel! An incredible gentleman and wonderful presentation! I can’t believe that this is not a 1M subscriber channel. A wealth of information with a great and knowledgeable host. Please keep up a great work! Folks, let’s spread the word to increase the # of subs! Cheers from Canada!
Good video! I nodded as you spoke. I've watched the bulk of your hunting oriented videos and have enjoyed them. One of my favorites has been the 300H&H review. I've been thinking about simply getting a used M70 in 375 and having it re-barreled in 300H&H. Original 300's are somewhat scarce and very costly, 375's are always for sale, and sometimes pretty cheap. I've also thought about one of the McMillan stocks in the "McWood" color like yours. I've been hesitant to ever push forward with the idea because of the cost and not knowing if it would look good in a rig. Yours looks fantastic so I may restock the 300 project rifle in a "McWood" stock when I get around to it. Again, thanks so much for your time and effort in making these videos. Take care!
Watching this for the second time in progress of rebuilding my gear so far you have been spot on with your suggestions so I'm sure it will be one of the packs you have reviewed. Thanks DD.
Been looking for a good Day pack and this was really helpful. Also just bought a new Winchester 70 in .270 based on your review and I absolutely love it! Really enjoying this channel
Man he was spot on with his comments on these packs. I've used the badlands and tenzing pack, but I own the kuiu venture pack. By far the most comfortable and has plenty of space for a day pack. Also the 10$ rifle holder for the venture works very well

You nailed the Anchorage airport, busted out laughing. 👍🏻. Love your channel.
I am in Anchorage twice a year, and always notice that.

Thanks for the detailed overview of each pack. You helped me confirm that the Kuiu Venture 1800 is the pack for me.

Thank you Sir 👍 great job
Great info, thanks
I have a several hundred dollar Mountain Hardwear pack that I got nearly free when I worked for Columbia Sportswear. It’s a nice pack.
I'll take the new view any day of the week
Does anybody have any opinions on old school canvas packs like Frost River or Duluth Pack?
Everyone needs to looks a new view hunting gear
Thanks for the video Desert Dog. Are you using these daypacks to pack out a deer? If not, how are you packing them out?
Yes, I often have to quarter out my kill where it lies and pack it back to the Jeep. I always end up shooting deer in the worst locations, lol.
Nice video, how can I contact you? Thanks.
The x2 is 250 dollars
When I bought my pack, they were $199. Since then, the price has gone way up. I think most of the packs in this video have gone up in price.
