But, even with so much awareness spreading people gorge on sweets, fast foods and sugary drinks. Their contention is their fathers forefathers consumed all sugary items and led a healthy life until their eighties and nineties. Even now fast foods and syrupy drinks are heavily consumed everywhere. Smoking is also prevalent as many don't develop any kind of health issues. Not just overeating but wrong choice of foods, foods which interact with each other in negative way etc must be avoided. Ever wondered why yogis live long and healthy life? Whereas even most doctors are obese in their mid age and suffer from heart disease? They know everything, right? The main problem is most people dont restrain from overindulgence and prioritize taste over nutrition. Gud is somewhat better than sugar, but it doesnt mean you fill your stomach with it. Fried or oily gravy dishes do more harm than taste. Ironically people also gulp down atleast a quarter of whisky stating that doctor says its good for health. Is it really healthy or just a tablespoon of wine a day is good?
