Big Joe Turner invented Rock n Roll. In Kansas City MO I don’t care what anyone says
REAL GOOD MUSIC
Now THIS is what I call REAL music! Ain’t nothin’ better...‘Enuff said!
Used to love going to hear Big Joe and Harmonica Smith performing at small clubs in the Los Angeles area late in their careers. Moments to cherish forever, the real blues for sure!
The harp player-powerful....T-Bone is great....Otis great too.....great vocals.....and that swinging rythm makes you want to move..........so Chicago.
Awesome, OG's!!!!

How bout Big Joe----- '' I woke up this morning with the blues all around my bed '' ----- go on Joe you remain the greatest blues shouter who ever lived !!
I hate to bust your bubble and all,but that wasn't big Joe Turner on that part. That was t bone walker that sung that line.
@@rooseveltdavis9559 wrong, that part is Big Joe !! The first singer is T-bone
@@gerardoortizmedrano6373 Definitely Big Joe. He is unmistakeable. These 3 were the top men at what they did and they influenced legions of musicians who came after them. People who think that blues is about long loud guitar solos should listen to these guys who are definitely the real deal and literally 'put it right there'.
That's a jam right there!!
Right up there with Howlin Wolf, Muddy Waters & Bo Diddley. Super Blues Album.
Hot damn this is so good!

Haven't got this album sounds good. Interesting line up. Nice to hear a sax sitting the pockets on voice track one. Not heard T-bone used that way before. Ernie Watts of all people.
I wish I had this record in my collection. I've never seen it before and that's sayin' something, 'cause I have collected blues records for a very long time and have a lot of them...! I have thrown away more than most collectors have...!!!
