dont build your water pumps near water source (or wet areas near water) if u wanna collect polluted water, u have to place the water pumps on the dry ground in the polluted areas otherwise u gonna get too much dirty water stacked up
can confirm. had my pumps in water and was getting a mix, moved my pumps over to land and now only get polluted water. Bumped my farm yield significantly
@@emansalgado yeah because mine was poorly set up, i didnt know much, but then figured that out which now my acid farm is producing 1152 Acid per 24 hours (if calculated correctly) i have 8 deviant generators that gives 60W each (with perks buffs + eels), and 24 water pumps, each 4 water pump is connected to an osmosis, which i have 4 of them (even tho it might be better to reduce the number of osmosis to just 2-3 because of the pipes limit (10) ) and 4 barrels with 16 slots for each (i have 4k impure acid each) so that should produce 16 acid every 20 mins, and 16 x 72 (is the number of how many 20minutes in 24 hours, 1440/20 = 72) so 16 x 72= 1152 which is the amount of acid u can get with this setup that i have. pretty excessive but i feel like its not enough for my endgame because i consume too much acid on so many things specially on ammo for the LEA Lab and other things.
@@EchelonDSO also try and build the pump the highest you can where the legs are barely on touching the land. placed my pumps on land away from water and did that and boom only polluted water!
