Great job on the build of the lil coffin. Really like the paint and color. Neat little back story to go with the build. Have a great week ahead buddy. Terry
My favorite show rod IRL and I have 2 kits in the stash. I've read so much about this car through the years and tracked it. Darryl Starbird still owns this.
Great looking build. Love the paint! I built one years ago and I have a 50th annaversary sealed kit in my stash. Looking at yours i'm thinking maybe i'll open it up and get busy on it. Thanks for sharing!
I built that kit WAAAAY back, 60's? 70's? But mine looked nothing like that! LOL Beautiful! Mine went by the way of BB Gun fun in back yard! Sadly.. with hundreds of other great kits!
That's awesome!! I just got this kit, and am going to build it this year. I was thinking I wouldn't build it box stock, but this might have changed my mind!
Great job. I have one in process, but the fit of the cowl to the lower body is giving me fits. Looks like you were able to get a nice clean transition. Any hints that you might recall ? Thanks
been a while since I built it, but I think your right, it was a bit of a pain, I do remember have to do a little body work there and them molding it in.
I've had that kit, but the front wheels needed some major clean up from mold marks. It also looks like you cleaned up the chrome flash and replated or maybe used chrome alclad ??
Watched most all your vids nice work and paint jobs. Question do your paint jobs consist of automotive paints ,hobby craft paints or a combination of either.
im not sure what you mean ? im not a historian on the lil coffin, who owned it and for how long, in fact i never knew larry farber owned it at all , i do know that he owned the boothill express , im guessing maybe stucky sold it to farber then it went to startbird ? im not really sure , i dont really know the whole history behind the car, i would have been 4 years old when this car was built, i just built the model , thanks .
@@hangingwithmrgseeds the Lil Coffin was butchered in the 70's-turned into the Monkey ward delivery-and caught on fire--- LF owned it before Monogram bought the car -there are pictures of LF with the car-I never knew LF owned the Boothill Express another forgotten show car-
