@@subspaceanomaly So why doesn't it rip off at 60mph? I don't understand this stuff. Seems brilliant though. I can't wait to design my own wrap for my CT.
@@ManInTheBigHat it doesn't rip off because it sticks due to the vacuum. Geckoes, the little lizards that run along the ceiling amongst other places, have a texture on their 'feet' (?) that creates little vacuums against the surface they are on and makes them stick. A floppy yoghurt lid that sticks to your tongue when you lick it is similar. A vehicle travelling really fast with that finish only has the air friction on the outside of the wrap, no air is getting between the surfaces to lift it off, and the vacuum is sucking it on much more than any other force. It is a weird slightly counter-intuitive effect but a pretty fundamental part of our physical reality.
Very skillful hands there.I like the concentration. And also I thinks all cybertrucks should look like that straight out of the factory. Merry Christmas
When I get mine I’m doing CLEAR PPF I love this color tho But I want that original to show most but this PPF wrap is something I’m definitely going to consider
@@dmomcilovic9185 I like silver and this is brighter and fingerprint proof. This also removes the wavy and warped reflection plus mismatch looking doors.
Really the main benefit of Cybertruck ppf is getting rid of the fingerprint issue. Yes they are easy to clean but it's tedious because they appear literally every time someone touches the car.
With all the stuff about the Cybertruck being bulletproof, I suspect they'll magnetically attract thrown rocks, keying, lighter fluid, and the occasional bullet. You know, real world tests that idiot strangers might do to someone else's vehicle because they've been told it won't damage it. PPF might not look so good very long in that real world
I don't feel this wrap at all. It looks lie a cheap refrigerator faking stainless steel with plastic foil. it's like covering real carbon fibre with a carbon fibre foil. Carbon fibre foil never looks good.
Worst wrap ever. It’s like wrapping a white car with the same white wrap - only difference is that this film does not protect anything - it just makes it harder to maintain and keep the vehicle scratch free 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
That is some terrible looking film. They would have been better off going with satin finish clear PPF and been 10x more durable and look exactly the same.
to me ,original stainless steel , either satin black( not matte black) and chrome have the best looking. YES only these three colors, other than that is gonna be ugly !
I think it's cool. Slightly darker, a flatter finish, and still metallic. Might come out more polished looking than the brushed stainless the truck comes with.
If you bought a foundation series, money is probably not that big issue. This does give it a much cleaner look, less raw, more refined. Also, much easier to clean because you can use normal car cleaning methods where the stainless is harder to clean. Plus, fingerprints don’t show up as easily. Maybe subjectively boring but definitely very useful and still keeps the original aesthetic. I think this will be a popular option.
PPF on an unpainted surface. Excellent choice I must say.
SSPF just doesn't have the same ring to it.

This looks better than any wrap i have seen on cybertruck. It still has that mettalic gloss but without tge issue fingerprints all over it.
It won't be long before companies sell pre-cut Cybertruck kits and people do it in their driveway every spring to change things up.
100% agree. The flat surfaces will make it fairly easy for novices to wrap their own Cybertruck.
Yes, but how hard is it to get a wrap off?
I ask because I have no idea.
@@ManInTheBigHat would take around 5 seconds to take that off, like window tints, it sticks due to the vacuum, there isn't any glue

Wow. I wanted to wrap MY CT in Dyno chrome black matte too haha. now I have to do another color
Bro i cant wait to finally see one in public
me too so I can laugh at that person I dont encourage mental illness
Ther's something amazingly satisfying about watching this.
I want my Cybertruck done in a stainless steel color. Super rad for sure...
😂😂😂

Looks way better than stock now
Can't wait to see a GOLD CT !
I'd love to see a olive green ppf on a Cybertruck. Just like the Warthog in Halo.
Tesbros did it already!
Next video Halo Warthog Cybertruck wrap. 1 million views.
Simpsons did it first /s
@@xclavo3 Yes! I just saw the video today.
Wow looks MUCH better, it's like night and night
Is hard to tell on camera. I bet it looks great in person
Wow, it’s like night and day!
Lol yeah
I keep getting all these cyber truck videos in my RUclips😂 sad Australia is not selling it
Give it 18months or so, the government will not forgo import duty, stamp duty, luxury car tax, and registration fees from potential buyers.
Let’s make it the same color. 🫣
Joe, this wrap is incredible on the Cybertruck! I would hate the fingerprints as well. What would clear PPF look like?
I love that color!!!! This would look great on my tesla model x!!
Wow cant wait to see it in studio lighting
It's sick man. Just amazing
PERFECT ---- OC is there another video wrapping the front of the hood?
So you added a wrap to make it the same as it already was.. awesome.
That is what I would get on my Cyberbeast.
Why ? It looks the same 😂
@@dmomcilovic9185 I like silver and this is brighter and fingerprint proof. This also removes the wavy and warped reflection plus mismatch looking doors.
Why did you wrap it in the same color as the Car?
Oh wow looks exactly the same 🙃
That's like going from "white" to "eggshell"
The most easy wrap on his lifetime
Joe, you look four feet tall standing next to the peak of the Cybertruck truck!
That is awesome

Cool, it's like driving your fridge excellent
Would be a great wrap for M3 and MY
How many feet of film was needed for this install?
So 2 panels is all your doing? Thats cool
There’s actually people that don’t see the difference. It looks way better.

Not if it shoots back.
My fear also.
Lol lets wrap our silver with silver. Wtf just leave it unwrapped.
Exactly what I was thinking. Granted the wrap gives some protection, but the dude could have got a change of colour too. Say, matte black!
@@vanshpatel7605 It's hardened steel. The only thing that film will protect from is fingerprints.
Metal protection film. Lol!
It’s going to look exactly like every other Cybertruck that’s been wrapped.
How long does this one last?
Ceramic paint protector is said to greatly reduce, or eliminate fingerprints on this steel.
Is the cybertruck the easiest car to wrap ever?
Is this wrap bulletproof?
😂😂
Is it street legal
Seen a cr wrapped in green today looked awesome. This is blah…
Oh man. Look like it just came from the dealer. Haha. 😂
Might as well apply transparent film
10:12 it is showing the bubble on the edge of the hood. That does not look easy!

7:05 think we all just saw your employee probably destroying the frunk
I wouldn't mind seeing the Lexus done as well
GOOD VIEDIO
How much?
What American is gona want a weak , feeble , gas guzzling F150 now 😮
They’re trying to say now it’s “dangerous”. What else do they have?

WOW!
Looks like a Cylon from Battlestar Galactica.
There is just no redeeming this attrocity of a vehicle
This is stainless steel. If you don't let oxygen get to it when damaged it will rust. Aka, wrapping it is a bad idea
yea who wraps stainless steel the whole points is that you can repolish it..
The fingerprints issue is only for people with sweating hands. I have my hands dry, I could never count the money. So I bet mine wouldn't show on it.
Doo it up!
A lot of cost 'n effort for a very similar look, IMO. If I'm doing this, I want a proper visual change. Otherwise, just keep the raw metal.
we like carmouflage, not boring black!!!!!!!!!!
My god the pain of buying A 100,000 dollar Cybertruck and waiting 6 years for delivery and someone chipping the hood on the highway.
Someone is gonna mistake that for stainless and scratch it.
haha is it easier than normal because it's all flat?

strange choice. if ur gonna spend the $ vinyl wrap, go for it and make it look different from the original. u can barely tell the difference
