The kick is quite weak imo, it should have a longer more distorted tail, and the tok (first part of the kick) is somewhat lacking as well

Probably a relatively high noise gate on the mic to prevent the speakers from picking up the music. He’s talking directly into the mic most of the time so it would be relatively loud

you have to finish that sadboy hardcore track (although with a different kick/more hardstyle sounding ig?)
I mean it takes a lot of effort to build these type of kicks (for hardstyle,hardcore stuff like that) more than an hour at least unless you're working with some samples but even then it is a lot of layering and stuff. Totally serviceable. His kick doesn't sound too far off from like early gabber kicks or even some of my old attempts at hardstyle kicks. Basic distorted 909 is a good start as always though.
With a hard dance kick that shit would slap. I’ve never been into hardstyle kicks but this would sound so fuckin good with a different kick, everything else about that song is unironically amazing

I might be wrong, but hardcore doesn't have those saw chords in the drop, and the kick isn't just a distorted kick, it has to be done with a distorted attack with a resonance at C6 or C5 (i don't remember) and a tail (typically a saw bass).
