He didn't played to be the top scorer. He played the football that people wanted to see. Messi is straight to the point. Ronaldinho is more a roller-coaster type😂
I love Ronaldinho but “best footballer”? Even in this game which is one of his best, he lost the ball so many times (even on arguably easy passes). Ronaldinho is great and fun to watch, but he’s too inconsistent to say he’s the best. I mean, just watch the first half of this video and think: would most people lose the ball in those situations? I think no. Compare him to R9 at his prime for example. He dribbled the entire opponent’s team and scored goals out of nowhere. You could pass the ball to him in any way and he would manage to control it, dribble defenders and shoot accurately. He didn’t lose the ball. I think that makes a big difference. Losing the ball can harm your team so much. Messi is also the same way. You rarely see Messi selling the ball.
Messi and ronaldo are different monsters and make you appreciate greatness, however players like ronaldinho lit up the pitch and made it seem like he’s the star of a show you don’t want to end

I firmly believe Sergio Ramos is a good defender because of all the years he had to defend versus Ronaldinho and everyone he had to defend after him was a joke.
Some might think is about the amount of players he went by, but besides that is the way he goes forward almost not moving from straight lines and at such accuracy against some of the best defenders of the time , plus he does it twice in one game
Thanks for this video, which shows that Ronaldinho was always between geniality and sloppiness. Makes an amazing run, pass, goal ... just before, fails to stop the ball, plays into nowhere, loses the ball too easily. He was just not willing to step too much into the trivialities of soccer, he was always attempting to create magic moments ... and boy he did!

Pretty much every good player... What good player isnt sloppy at times when trying to over-extend to create a magical play? Messi makes mistakes all the time, as does Ronaldo. And in futbol, all you you need is ONE of theose plays to finally work and it can be the difference between a win and a loss.
@@JonHop1 Good point and true for some players, but there is a huge other fraction of players that cultivate a style of “no mistakes”, take Toni Kroos for instance. Happy to see the comments acknowledging that this was the golden age of football: everyone had fun, was positive, it wasnt as soft as these days ("Ouuchh he looked at me!") and the amount of top tier players on one field, instead of relying on one semi star to carry it all
If this man was as competitive as cr7 he would have absolutely reigned supreme as the greatest of all time for and his prime would have spanned as long as messi and Ronaldos.
He made people fall in love with the sport. He was so unique and that smile will always be remembered. The best ever. I'm sorry, I love messi, but he can never compared to Ronaldinho.

And he didn't even watch :-P
No look
Holy shit thank u for allowing me to go back and appreciate that moment
During this time we had no High Definition, but we could watch him play beautifully, he was a true magician. My favourite player of all time!!!!!!!!
RONALDINHO GAUCHO..when I see him play..I can feel love & peace..great legend
6:08 to 6:15 would be 3 dives from any player today along with a rant at either the ref or a teammate. This man just smiles and reloads, what a legend.
Yes Messi and Ronaldo Era, the players are full of comedians and El classico were never be the same. The new generations are all whiny brat.
@@holycow7174 Messi also does not dive, however on the other hand penaldo.......
It looked like he started the game badly as well but he kept his confidence and just carried on going and being positive and aggressively attacking
His body movement and foot work are incredible
No phones, people just enjoying one of the best players ever
edit: this is a postive comment, what the hell is happening in this world? Nowadays we can't comment? wtf
iPhone came out later probably
Corny ass comment lol just enjoy the game
@@catsirking465 8 month later bro you are late
@@KP-by4eu You would still have videos from the TV cameras.
Don't mind the toxic people. They are just a new generation with phones stuck on his ass. Nowadays, mobile phones are more Intteresting that focus on any movie, match and any other entertainment. That's how toxic ppl Introduced
The chemistry between eto and ronaldinho is on next level
I firmly believe Sergio Ramos is a good defender because of all the years he had to defend versus Ronaldinho and everyone he had to defend after him was a joke.
Messi?
@@nickmartinez2897 you're gonna tell me Messi is better than Ronaldinho?
@@kevinb.3656 yes
@@kevinb.3656 way better
@@nickmartinez2897 You put those two on their prime and its night and day. You talk about a legacy and sure Messi is on top.
He will be irreplaceable until the end of times.
7:33 only Ronaldinho can make English commentators turn into Spanish commentators. “GOOOOOAAAALLL” lol
South American you mean ))))))
"Rrrrrrrronaldinho" lmao
the la liga commentators ARE spaniards. just because they speak english doesnt mean they’re from uk or us
@@alcipta6165 your're incorrect. the one who screamed "goal" was sid lowe, and he is 100% brit.
@@zoltanlukas Nope, Spanish, watch some La Liga
There is not a player on this planet that can touch the class of the one and only Ronaldiniho not even mesi or cr7
Ronaldinho was more skilful that Messi. Messi is a better playmaker and goal scorer
Some might think is about the amount of players he went by, but besides that is the way he goes forward almost not moving from straight lines and at such accuracy against some of the best defenders of the time , plus he does it twice in one game
It is just hard to hate Dhinho. Even when he is playing against your team, you will still be amazed by his skills and character.
Thanks for this video, which shows that Ronaldinho was always between geniality and sloppiness. Makes an amazing run, pass, goal ... just before, fails to stop the ball, plays into nowhere, loses the ball too easily. He was just not willing to step too much into the trivialities of soccer, he was always attempting to create magic moments ... and boy he did!
yep, your words 100% true. People like remember his game, bcs forget about his another side. Ronaldinho it like heartbreak for any coach, you neven now what he doing now - crazy mistake, or crazy magic skill/goal
That’s the same for most great players, except I would say that at least when he loses the ball it’s in safe areas and not on the edge of his own box
Pretty much every good player... What good player isnt sloppy at times when trying to over-extend to create a magical play? Messi makes mistakes all the time, as does Ronaldo. Ronaldinho was WILLING to make mistakes and look bad at times to make a great play. And in futbol, all you you need is ONE of theose plays to finally work and it can be the difference between a win and a loss.
@@JonHop1 Good point and true for some players, but there is a huge other fraction of players that cultivate a style of “no mistakes”, take Toni Kroos for instance. And make no mistake, Ronaldinho was much more sloppy than Lionel Messi or even CR7. It is a difference if you lose the ball because you pay no attention at times and are bored of the trivialities of life/soccer like Ronaldinho or because of a failed attempt.
The best moment in my life.
See Golden era of Barca with Ronaldinho..
He's so respectful; No hate only football
He doesn't do the step overs it's his body movements that gets the defenders committed, he makes it look effortless...what a player.
With the number of superstars playing, it's always the best el classico when they meet
That young kid Messi plays well. I think he might enter the top 10 of best footballplayers in the world.
Even apponent supporters gives standing ovation to Ronaldinho..that is really magnificent..!! Ronaldinho is the only one everyone love him for is magical skills he has..... footballer like so call messi or Ron 7 they don't have any supporters from other club did standing ovation for them....no at all..!? But only for the great legend Ronaldinho the magician..has that !!!! World best of the best class player..
The
It's mindblowing to see Ronaldinho and Messi on one team. That is epic. Im happy that I got to see that live and personal.
Legends say Ramos is still looking for the ball... 😅
His passing was one of his best attributes
Dude was complete lmao. It’s crazy how skillful he was. Dude could pass, dribble, and shoot. He also had pace and strength. One of footballs unique talents
That “no-look” pass to eto 🥺🥺🥺
Ronaldinho is one of the best of all time.Made in Brazil. 😍
Messi is the best, but if Ronaldinho is on the same ground then you will only see him not the best one so Ronaldinho is not the best but he is the greatest of all time
@ALONE BOY in terms of skills yes in terms of accomplishment no
Messi is the actual Goat but Ronaldinho is the Goat in our hearts
these were the times when real madrid and barcelona had legends on their teams, and every time they played against each other it was like an all-star game
This was Barca at its peak. Simply class, simply invincible!!! I miss Gaucho to date. He is the missing ingredient in world football. Poor Ramos, he was tasked to mark the best of the best. He will live to replay this game in his entire life time! He did his best though.
Hé was out go play football. Not to be the best . This era footballlers just want money
His playing style wouldve been different if he saw the game as seriously as c7 tbh
He made people fall in love with the sport. He was so unique and that smile will always be remembered. The best ever. I'm sorry, I love messi, but he can never compared to Ronaldinho.
Sergio Ramos, Beckham, Guti, Eto’o, Deco, Iniesta, Messi, Ronaldo, Figo, Roberto Carlos, Zidane… and the Santiago Bernabéu stood up to applaud Dinho…
Ronaldinho is the farmer of many "goats" 🔥👌
Ronaldinho with CR7's discipline, King of the Kings 🎩👑✨
The talent concentration on the pitch is mind blowing:
Ronaldinho, Ronaldo Nazario, Beckham, Iniesta, Etoo, Ramos, Messi, Zidane, Puyol, Roberto Carlos, Deco, Raul, Xavi, Casillas, Márquez, Robinho….
Guti
Ronaldinho leyenda de leyendas en el futbol 😁👌🏽
When rivalry gets brushed aside for a minute and you just have to applaud what you see. Very rare you'll an El Classico team clap an opposition player
Maybe one of the most expensive match considering each player's salary.
Think today with P$G on the pitch would be more expensive.
Its the way how dinho played like a school boy for 60 odd mins but then for 8 mins he just said "right i'm gonna score now" does 2 dazzling runs and embarrasses the real defence loool
The good old days, when football was actually civil and fun
Ronaldinho ist der einzige Barcelona Spieler der in Bernabeu applaudiert wurde , und er wird auch der einzige bleiben .
One thing I noticed from him.... Always keep smiling ☺🙂
Hey i am Chelsea fan but..... For me this is the player who had the best techinical skills in football history, no matter how the pass comes he makes 1 touch and he controls the ball yet and in the next moment the ball turns out in the enemy net. One name Ronaldinho - real legend !
Almost Every players in Both side were some of the best ever played the game
The rival's supporter can't hold their hands to give applause to the second goal after mocking him in the first goal. 👏🏻
Simplesmente Fantástico esse Ronaldinho gaúcho....É de encher os olhos....A nunca se cansa de ver esses lances.
back in the days when the enemy audience gives standing ovations. Sad reality today.
What .you make it sound like a regular occurrence...it wasn't.
I don't even believe you to have grown up in that era as you can count on one hand the amount of standing ovations given to opposing players in all the league's over the last 3 decades.
My father had a bottle of whisky that was given by his grandfather. He only used to drink that on very special days. This match was one of those days, he wasnt expecting tho.
no one can hate this amazing guy, ronaldinho make me really love football
