I love when Pauly does Mitzi’s voice 😂
*[in her voice] ME TOOOOOOO!! He's da closest thing to her so yeah, for sure!*
"he used to sell carpet"
Roseanne Barr copied her voice you know 🤣
*The most totally mature thing about Paulie is his comfort & happiness in being alone, because being alone is BLISS & an underrated & under instigated lifestyle. Amen to the Wees!*
This was a great interview. I grew up with Pauly Shore but don't really pay attention to pop culture anymore, but his band's hilarious. Pauly can make anything funny.
Pauly grew up to be a wonderful human!!!
Paula just gets up starts dancing and it’s like, “play something like this” 😂😂😂
I screamed.. How has this not gotten memed yet?
Who's Paula?.... Abdul? Poundstone?....
Pauly is a national treasure.
To uneducated McDonalds workers maybe.
Howie RELAX!!!!!! What’s with all the knit picking
Chinese!!!
Give me 3 valid reasons why...no way you can do that...this guy sucks
He a godam weasel
I met Pauly very briefly when i worked in a Best Buy and he was doing a set at a comedy club nearby and needed a digital recorder. He came into the store before it opened and I was so tired I thought I was dreaming. Honestly one of the nicest guys ever.
its not about you ..... is it.
That was THE worst music I've EVER seen someone Breakdance to! LOL!!!
they werent even looking when he did it twice
Let's Do IT!!!!! Stay Crusty Everyone!!! Love Yall!!!
Pauly Shore's epic laugh right before Max hits the school stage in Goofy Movie is forever burned into my mind.
FINALLY...someone mentions St. Elsewhere and how effing fantastic it was. The greatest show of all-time, in my not-so humble opinion.
I have to say (I'm 54 ) watched Pauly on MTV in the 90s, and always thought he was just a goof. Watching this interview....I'm so impressed with him and it was a gift to listen to him the latter part of this interview. I can relate to him 100% at this point in his life. A great hour I just spent.
He has a genuine heart.
and we all said “grindedge” at least once!🤪
I’m sure he was a nepo-baby douche but everybody grows up whether we accept it or not.
Me and my friends were sitting at the comedy store one night and pauly shore walks up to us and starts talking to us and we couldnt believe it he is such a awesome person and i love hearing him talk
I miss Pauly so much…we need more Pauly!!! Not the weasel, just pauly!! Dude was my fav actor as a kid
TRIBUTE SHOW FOR MOM!!
YALL think of that lineup, c'mon !❤
I feel the love radiate when yall are talking about MITZI.
That'd be an epic celebration 🎉
Pauly is so humble and down to earth. Been one of my favorites since childhood. I hope I get to meet him one day!
You’re definitely the only person to ever call Pauly Shore humble.
@@asapbruhhhhh cool 👍🏻😂
He was talking about being 21 years old in his 8series BMW with a $15k check in his hands with nothing to add to it, just said it to feel cool. Sounds humble to me 🤦♂️🤦♂️
@@Bob.Smith. that was in the past I think he’s grown and changed a lot and by humble I meant when people genuinely try to compliment his comedy and his legacy he has a hard time accepting.
@@mandeejanssen8600 but he was just talking about it as a man in his 60's (or late 50's, whichever). I like Pauly but he's out of touch, I don't think he's a humble person. I think he's very used to being beyond privileged
I am 60. I know my life was garbage and cannot really ever remember anytime that was truly happy or fun. This guy did more and had more fun and met more interesting people in one day than my entire life. Plus he seems like a normal good bro. You have been really blessed Pauly. Thanks for the stories.
If you are alive, there's still time to do something about all the crap and unhappiness. Break out of your routine and live a little.
@@leilamb1978 naw, too late for some of us...not looking for sympathy.....just never knew that much about him and I was genuinely interested in the stories he had to tell. Thank you though for the kindness.
Awe Jim B .. I'm 47 .. I've had 5 of those years where I was totally on the Moon. The rest is kinda .. ... in 2012 thru 2014 I was deep in the woods high up on mountains searching for something. Which I eventually found. The last ten years since have been . . A guy dreaming of yesteryear. .. .
Nah man, she's right. Do something. Live a little. Get a hooker. Lol
Puke Paul Ee parasite d bag
Paulys a cool dude, ran into him more times then I can count. He’s always really chill.
I love hearing old stories of the comedy club and of pauly's younger days
This was an amazing episode. Loved hearing more about the history of the comedy scene. And Pauly is such a cool dude people have said so much about him though the years but he's come out the other side as a humble man.
I find myself liking Pauly Shore more now than when he was in his heyday. I think he's an interesting individual. A really good conversationalist -- he knows when to listen, when to offer his thoughts, and when to add some humor without trying to be a comedian about it. He could have had one of those big, massive rises, only to come crashing down hard into self-destruction. But instead, he's done a fantastic job of growing older. It's rare when celebrities opt for the solo life, instead of settling down with a partner, so it's refreshing when the celebrity not only embraces solo living but finds it invigorating, as well. I thought this was so interesting to hear about the old late 1970s comedy scene. Nice job, Pauly. Nice job, Howie. Nice job, Jackelyn. 👍
Pauly is a legend. The Safety dance scene with baldwin in bio dome is unforgettable
Pauly is right. Without your health, you have nothing. Take care of yourself, kids. Love you, Pauly! So happy to see you mellow, enjoying life, and keeping healthy. Sauna!!! 😂
Always loved pauly and his movies and comic stupidity. Iv learned so much from rogan about his mother and just about his life through pod casts. Its amazing the ppl he's met and lived around. Ppl sometimes act like he is a washed up actor but he's not at all. His mother was an icon and responsible for all the major 70s and up comics and actors/stars. Can't believe he's 55!
Pauly is one of the gen X Icons.
All these years and now I see the resemblance with Richard Simmons 😂😂😂 love Pauly and love this show! 🤟🏆
imagine if Ricard Simmons was his actual father 😂😂😂
Hell Yeah - Pauly Shore & The Crust Crusty’s..!
there's something soothing, connective and gorgeous about growing older, deeper and wiser along with the other strange and wild animals who've shared the same wave of time as myself.
My fav saying is,‘I’m glad to be older now, to be younger then.’
Just fell down a Paul Shore weasel hole! He was/is the coolest man alive! Living Legend ❤
I didn't like how the vibe started but it rights itself, thank god. Pauly deserves respect.
I guess Mitzi could afford to buy lots of business ventures, but not pay the comics. She created an incredible launching pad for GREAT talent.
OMG Pauly Shore is such an amazing human being. Howie you are such a lucky man to have known him for so long. My sister absolutely adores Pauly Shore. He is literally her hall pass. Lol but this podcast is one of dreams.
Howie, I honestly think of Bobby, and I always feel that chuckle at the way you characterized him. The pitch of his "I said, Mommeee" 😂😅😂
that brake dancing was fire
Paula is a great guy……what an incredible talent and down to earth normal guy. Love u brother
Pauly is the godson of comedy ❤.
THIS WAS SUUUUCCCHHH A PLEASURE!!! THANK YOU, PAULY AND HOWIE!!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This was great
I love how he started dancing to no music, that’s an icon right there
Pauley brought Beautiful , Beautiful CHAOS and TRUTH!!! I LOVE IT!!!!
I love this episode!
Pauly is a little chunk of the soundtrack of my life in the 1900s..
As he is for countless ppl... I love hearing all his stories & the way you all converse..
I just found this podcast, loving it, & now i have a lot of new content to listen to while driving!
Much love from
Texas 💓💓
Pauly Shore what a guy ty for everything brother
Definitely pleasantly surprised at the way Pauly has matured.
Been a big fan since his Mtv days, and it makes me sincerely happy to see the way the Weasel has evolved as he has aged.
I never got to meet him, but hopefully one day I can.
He's the kind of guy that I would invite to my home to munch on some grindage and weez some juice lol
Thank you Pauly, for all these years of entertainment, and God bless you in all you do.
Always enjoy seeing Pauly Shore! Thanks for having him as a guest. He has a super heart for all kinds of people! Bless him and the Crustys. Howie I dig your podcast also. How nice it must be to work with your family. 😊🇨🇱
❤ Howie. And Pauly will always be my cuddle bug bear even though we've never met. Much love well wishes and continued success to you. Your the best!!
This was a terrific pod cast, I knew some of his background but was blown away by his amazing life. Mitzi would be proud her “kids” are all still looking out for each other.
Thanks for the fabulous interview! I think this is my favorite on this channel.
Love to see Pauly still around dudes from a Legendary family he could literally just fade off into the sunset if he wanted to
*PAULY IS AWESOME* *HE STILL CRACKS ME UP* *CATER*
I want to see the crusties live , we love Pauly
These 2 should have their own podcast together.
It's good to see that Pauly has balance in his life.
I partied with pauly in 2013-14 after he came to see my band at the whiskey. He was really depressed, but would bounce around. Im not gonna say what we were doing, but it was cool to hangout with him. I enjoyed this interview more than my experience
80s & 90s were the best, so glad I grew up in those decades!
Paulie shore lives his live to the fullest
Don't know how your doing this but each show gets better and better love it
Pauly Shore's Weasel used to get on my nerves in the 80's on MTV as a kid but he definitely grew on me in the 90's when he starred in those crazy flicks, Encino Man, Son in Law, and Bio Dome now that I'm older I appreciate his Weasel character it was a character that just defined that California 80's culture...what an era that seems long gone now...
Pauly Shore is underrated
He's not that thin
I love the stories about how Mitzi hated people like Louis and Seinfeld cuz she just clearly wasn't vibing with them instantly and went with it
I loved this interview. Watching Pauly drop the schtick and become “real” in a very open and honest way turned me into an actual fan. I must have thought, “What a great guy,” a dozen times.
I've been a fan of you both for 30 years, fantastic seeing you together, major nostalgia here 💜
This was well put together for this interview. Keep doing good Pauly & thanks to the Mendel team clap
As a kid that crew up in Burbank and went to the comedy store to watch some of these guys and became a professional athlete and met Pauley with Ron Jeremy on a couple occasions, you just can’t not like Pauley! My humor old schools that I took pieces of and allowed me to meet 10’s of thousands of people were just small ticks of Pauley and Vince Vaughn! And what a cool guy in person… I’ve always given him props and always will! He was always fascinated by my height (6’6”) and would say you have fun in the sack don’t you? And I’ve always remembered that! Solid dude! Wish he’d come out with a special! Cheers to you being a lot of Gen X kids go to humor for so many years! 🍺
Pauley was hanging with Ron Jeremy? Not surprised 😂
i love every pauly shore appearance on any podcast. and his podcast, i forgot the name, something with rant, is brilliant too. thx howie for bringing pauly on, the episode is soo good ❤
One of the naturally funniest men alive without realising. I was on the floor when he was dancing!
Howie getting triggered when Paulie was shooting his shot at the daughter 😂😂😂
howie flipping during the rocket money ad was the most entertaining commercial ive ever seen bahaha
Lol Pauly shore is still a big azz kid like flavor flav!!!
AWESOME CRUSTYS CONCERT BASH!!!JACKIE AWESOME QUESTION!!!!
So glad The Weez is making his rounds on podcasts.
I really enjoy your show, Howie! Thanks for bringing to us!
He's a great sport! And seen the standup scene from such an inside view. Great podcast!
You mean saw
@@user-vv8bq7mm2o he's still doing it isn't he?
I love this so much, I've always loved Pauly since the first time I saw him as a teenager in the 90's. He is such a good guy, and it was so good hearing these stories. Love ya Pauly!!!!
Howie looks like a seaman that should be on the box of frozen fish sticks at the grocery store
Pauly Shore pop locking was the best thing I've seen all 2024!!!
I’m so glad the Gorillas song “New Gold” mention Paula Shore. I forgot about The Weasel and have caught up on this cool guy and his comedy!!!!❤️❤️❤️
Love ya Howie, and Love Pauly too! 💚💚💚💯
All time favorite actor he’s too funny, for my money
I absolutely LOVE Pauly - what a Legend. Would of loved to meet him
Gotta love Pauly, there's no doubt that if I had his upbringing I wouldn't have made it!
We'll never forget, Howie
Go back to your toxic hateful podcast,, that energy is not welcome here. With peace and love
⭕
My brother was at O'Hare airport, and saw Tom Green, and Pauly Shore.
Tom and Pauly weren't together, but my bro told me he saw Pauly standing in a line.
I think it was a food court.. but he kept acting like he was super busy on his phone. 😂
Same brother (who was on stage at 2nd city) saw Michael McDonald (Mad tv)..
at the Walgreen's across the street.. pretending like he was on the phone.
It was funny because he stood out, to even people who didn't know him..
but it was ridiculously obvious he wasn't talking to anybody.
Love the Weasel
Lmao Pauly raised by Asians makes perfect sense 😂
All my life, I've been told I look just like Pauly Shore... I do. Glad I still will have my hair at 55.............LOL
Great interview, can't wait to see the crusties live band
He had a huge cult following for a time. I think people forget how big he made it and his quirky stand up comedy routines were quite famous. Everybody knew of Pauly Shore when I was growing up. And I have no problem admitting I actually liked movies like Ensino man and Son in law
Pauly Shore hitting the, "Town Drop" 8:35 Highlight for years 2 come 4 me. Haha love it.
THE BEST- MR SHORE AKA THE WEASEL ALWAYS DELIVERS!! EPIC PODCASTER!!!!
I LOVE PAULY. SHORE🎉😂😂😂😂 HES HILARIOUS!!!!
LOVE PAULY SHORE. ❤ LEGEND!!! 👏🏻🙌🏻❤️
Pauly Shore you fucken Legend
This was great! Thank you!
He is an iconic person. I can remember all his movies and some standup. Which really makes me older than chit!
Steven Tyler PJs, Steven Tyler PJs
freakin awesome!❤
Love your Podcast fan since the 80s Pauly is the best. Many humans are choosing to stay alone in their adult lives. I think our world and Covid has created Big Change in our youth and young adults even older generations from the 70s now 50s and 60s now becoming the normal💜✌️🌻Love the show
Its awesome to hear all this history. Thanks guys!
Really fun...Bring on the Crustys!
“Yes, I know.” 😂❤
Fuck yes cant wait. Iz the Leaning tower of cheeeezaaa!!
Pauly may be odd fruit and he may not be the best. But him and adam sandler got me through my shit childhood. Only time i smiled was watching those dudes movies on repeat. ❤ Love pauly.
Dude I loved all his stuff when I was a kid.
Love you Pauly!
