I love how versatile Bert is and the amazing guest he has on, I really love that Bert can do serious interviews like this too. I love getting to hear the inside perspective Pauly and Bert have on their careers, their lives as well as comedy in general.

Lifelong Pauly Shore fan.
I've done Ayahuasca and Anahuasca several times (over a dozen, both under guidance but mostly off-grid and at home. Also, never alone!).
So here's my advice for Bert, Pauly, and anyone else, if they want to have a meaningful experience.
Music is a good idea, and those songs were nice, but please remember these.
Three conditions:
1. Do it in a small, dark space with limited light, or, outdoors on a new moon, but with fire and blankets available. Ambience and "creature comforts" are very important. (FYI you'll have skin sensitivity, but we all know Bert's already comfortable being shirtless. Just be prepared for wanting to shed all articles. Plan appropriately to keep warm and cozy, and safe.)
2. Make certain (especially if you try it out for yourself) you have an "MAOI inhibitor" in the batch, and, you'll do well to also have some strong vitamin C available as well. Take the extra vitamin C well beforehand, or at least have a dose just before you drink the brew; the combination really boosts the formula. Chewable tablets work just fine.
3. You're definitely going to "purge." Actually the effect doesn't really work without it. So do, please, fast for the day at least. Also it's better for you to not be under any other influence. Most especially alcohol or anything synthetic. If weed or other natural things my are in your system, it's sorta okay.. but the experience "wants to be" its own. You'll understand my meaning after you have one.

But it's also been called "getting well." Often times, sickness and illness is referred to as such. Your body is truly trying to make you well again, and that's why we purge the bad stuff.
Just do yourself the favor Pauly didn't know to do.. make certain your belly is empty before you have the brew.
I completely agree with Bert. Biodome and Jury Duty are Pauly's best movies, ever. Mind, I haven't seen this new one. I'm looking forward to it!
Third would be a tie between Encino man and In the Army Now.
In the Army Now is Andy's best, though.
Biodome is #1 for me, but then again I was raised by hippies who liked to party at least as much as save the planet 😅
