- New documents filed in federal court say that all six attorneys defending former Baltimore City State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby are asking to be removed from the case and have a public defender appointed.

She was a horrible DA and a liar. She claimed Baltimore's crime rate had 'plummeted' and her 'proof' was 'lower incarceration'. But that's only because she dropped some major cases involving black perps. Homicides in the city shot up to 342 in her first year in office-a 38 percent increase-and have not dropped below 300 during any year of her tenure. She actually said, _"As a prosecutor, our mission is justice over convictions. You have to understand the importance of rectifying the wrongs of the past.”_ meaning 'equity'. In 2022 Baltimore's crime index was 3 (three) meaning out of 100 cities, 97 were safer than Baltimore, MD. Your chance of being the victim of a violent crime was 1 in 22!

Sounds more like she was a total bitch to work with. Just look at what she was convicted of. Defrauding the Covid funds by claiming 2 fake businesses...and she was the State's DA!!
Not really. Bolden has brought up on ethics charges in this case for his big mouth. I know she was convicted but the federal defender did a much better job. He’s the Chief Federal Defender for Maryland and he’s been there 26 years. Notice is manner. Says nothing entering or leaving. And neither does she obviously upon his direction

All six of her Attorney's from Reed Smith LLP did represent her for free. The lead attorney, A. Scott Bolden got himself into legal word trouble with the Federal Judge. He was facing federal court contempt charges aka federal criminal charges. He dropped out and the five fellow attorney's went with him. The office of the federal public defender was appointed to represent her for free.
He's just seeing how much crap he can throw at the wall and see what parts stick. He's hoping the court and the judge will react and he can declare the judge a racist and try to get another trial and another venue or delay her trial another year of two and may be by then we'll all be sick and tired of hearing her name and feel sorry for her and they will drop the charges.
