Having lived in isolation for a great many years even before this pandemic, I've always found your videos extremely useful in preventing me from reverting to undulating noises and headbutting as forms of communication - your explanations are succinct and not without considerable wit. Thank you very much, Benjamin!

Hello Benjamin. I really like your channel and this lesson is so good. And I constantly refer to your videos on a regular basis. Hopefully my spoken English will improve. Thanks Benjamin for sharing your videos.
Thank you very much, Benjamin, for the great lesson! I like the way you teach. You make me laugh all the time, Benjamin. It helps me to remember a lot of useful things, really. Love to watch your videos. I wish you all the best and I look forward to the new classes. Kind regards. 🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷 Svetlana. Moscow, Russia.
Hi everyone hello Benjamin, how’ve you been? It’s been awhile since my last lesson with you. I got 9 out of 10 in a quiz. I need to disagree with you in point 9 of the quiz. I would consider both answers as a correct answer (“maintain” and “strengthen”). Why so? Because “holding trade talks” is already ongoing action. So, we can imagine that they purposely started trade talks a month ago and now they want to still maintain it. At least what I think so. And I am far away of saying that a “strengthen” is more correct in this context. Is there any chance Benjamin you could explain your thoughts on this? I think the vast majority of students would appreciate since we are a triffle confused. I wish you all have a wonderful day.
Hi Shy Mister! I'm well thanks. Summer holidays over here - probably my favourite time of the year :) I don't write the quizzes, just the lesson content. Maintain means to keep something at the same level; strengthen means to increase...
@@engvidBenjamin Thank you for your quick reply. I do like summer too although I'm not fond of scorchers. We recently had a heat wave and now it's been raining on and off for 3 days. :D
Greetings from Turkey. You are excellent teacher.
Thanks and welcome
