It's really too bad that he ended up having quite a lot of pitch problems, and not a whole lot of originality, because in terms of the quality of his voice, and his sheer likeability, plus the fact that he was quite easy on the eyes, he could have really had a successful career. Even though it was obvious that he was never destined to win, I still always remember him as one of my favorite contestants over the years.
You make a good point, but I just think that there are many talented people who don’t fit into that mold of being a mainstream star that would provide a “successful” mainstream career. In the short time they got in front of millions of people, so many of them wanted be a star so badly and for them the show was “I’m a star, let me prove it to you in these three minutes I get on the show every week”. Bucky just seemed like a down to earth guy who didn’t need the superstardom to be happy, like so many of those wannabe stars did.
The very innofensive Bucky Convington with his regular innofensive performance. If he wasnt a country singer, he wouldnt have lasted as he did. Good tone but lacking on controll/forced too much his vocals to match the original here.
Was on stage with him at this years Springfest in mine and his hometown, Rockingham.
Just saw him last week opening for John Anderson. He was great!
Still got it

GREAT TUNE!#!!!
God damn Nick
His voice seems affected to me. He's a top end bar singer, but the ladies loved him!!!

I don't know what innofensive means?
Not sure, but they're right on the forced vocals!!!
