Okay, what's with all the hate in this comment section?? Why do y'all expect for her to bust out like J-Lo in full choreography and shake her ass all over the stage?? do y'all realize that a lot of singers are not dancers, and Mariah Carey has never been a dancer? So I don't understand why you expect for her to bust a move and Drop It Like It's Hot well that's never been her thing. Whitney Houston also was a dancer, and she often times either just stood in one spot, or walked around the stage. Y'all never called her lazy. It shouldn't take for Mariah Carey to pass away for y'all to appreciate the legend and talent she is.

Whitney never once lip synced. NOT EVER! Even when she sounds busted she got up there and continued to do what she loved which was sing. Mariah doesn’t love to sing. She loves to make music in her studio. She’s a creator not a performer. Mariah may not have been a dancer but she was always able to bring her personality and playful energy to the stage. Prior to 2020 she moved around a lot and didn’t focus so heavily on teleprompters. These days she acts like she doesn’t even wanna be on stage, but she has to if she wants to continue living lavish without running out of money. She is stiffer than she used to be and seems bored and over it all.

@@MrPuredanster1 why wasnt that brought up in wardrobe rehearsal? Why must she always perform in ensembles that constantly restrict her mobility? This didn’t become a trend for her until the Caution era. Whether it’s the shoes or the dress, she can barely move like she used to. She moved more during her Vegas shows. She moved a lot during the sweet sweet fantasy tour. Why doesn’t she consider these things when planning a show?
I was there, her mic was definitely on, she looked radiant, the crowd was having a good time, it was an amazing time.

Why are people acting like we dont know or care about Mariah lipsyncing? We KNOW and we CARE. However, we say nothing simply because it perserves her voice. Yes Mariah didnt get to mention the guest's name or say "give it up to ~" because she is fully lipsyncing here. But yall need to know that Mariah performing is like a very sensitive paint being exhibited in the public. All we lambs hope is for her voice to not degrade anymore.

We were 4th row center. There was a large gap between the stage and the first row, so it looks as though we are further back.

It’s not that she’s not dancing it’s that she seems disengaged. MC has kept her eyes on the prompters during 80% of this tour. This isn’t karaoke and she wrote the songs and knows the words lol. They need to switch to in crowd prompters so that she can look up at the audience and not down at the floor.
With every thing she does and says being criticized yall keep messing with her confidence and heightening her insecurities. She’s always been a nervous stage performer. Her performances also don’t translate with cell phone recordings. We love going to her shows and live our best lives. Let her live
