Worked on the countryman 354 when I came home from school in the 70''s did over a 1000 hours a year diving them we had 2 on our mallee farm. I believe that is why I need hearing aids today, but we traded up to 866 inter's which where even worse before the American cabs came along in the John Deeres
Thanks Spotty i have got some 60 ltr drums so i can start making belly tanks that are actually going to be a battery box and a tool box but look like fuel tanks cheers
I can still remember the delivery of our brand new C6100 prior to that we had C354 and C306, first thing I noticed was the much wider front tyres looked mean
Gidday Nugget, have enjoyed your videos very much, love seeing the old school machinery either getting recoed or modified and more so still being used for what they were designed for. So in the back ground on a couple of your videos I've spotted what seems to be a Chamberlain plough ? Would like to see a video of it, perhaps the history or how you came to own it and possible in use. When I was a kid our family owned a 14 Disc Chamberlain Plough, I still have the owners manual, printed on the back it says 1969. Cheers, Andy in Adelaide.
Yep...I know how you feel mate...the c100 was the flash cockies tractor...the dual rears and wide steer tyres gave them a beautiful stance...we had the 354 countryman with duals....just purchased a c670 with the idea of restoring...1st up is fit power assist steering if I can find a unit
That tractor with the canvas roof my have been owned by st George county council and used in St George area of Sydney they did some work at sydney airport because it was muddy and crane's could not go there I saw one tractor when I was a kid I would have liked too see one in action putting poles in
