Hey!!! You said absolutely right. My daughter's pediatrician specially recommend me to drink lots and lots of water and 1 bottle of jeera ajwain water as well. It really helps in lactation. Drinking milk all the time to produce lactation is totally a myth. Every new mother should drink lots and lots of water. I remember my daughters pediatrician always used to give an example of a cow. A cow never produce milk after drinking milk herself. 😃😃 So new mothers don't focus on all the myths, just focus on yourself and your baby. Eat healthy, eat well, and eat everything. And drink lots of water.
I m from Odisha. Here we r allowed to eat only 2 chapati in breakfast with boiled Dal, rice and boiled Dal in lunch, and again 2 chapati with boiled Dal. Nothing else during the whole day. Only 2 small glasses water.

Hey! I'm mother of 2 months old cutie. I used to eat bombay duck fried in ghee which is super effective to produce milk and also oats. fishes,nuts are beneficial for the production of breast milk and development of baby's brain. Drinking a lot of water(2 gallons) help to latch baby easily I never had jaggery,ajwain water etc but still as I'm not vegetarian as I used to eat a lot of proteins helped me to produce good amount of milk
Postpartum diet also important... I had slighly on diabetic side in pregnancy.... But doctor where I had delivery didnt tell anything about post pregnancy diet...Breast milk supply reduced due to no latching... My baby doctor and relatives told me to eat more quantity and more sweets.. Just for my baby i was ready to do anything... But it was a. Disasters when met doctor after 3 months ... I was overweight .. And high blood sugar.. And now at high risk of diabetics... And strict diet and asked to reduced weigh asap

this is very worst part.. even i had the same.. i had many stiches in my normal delivery, plus bleeding and frequently breastfeeding and in addition to that my baby had jaundice and we were admitted.. that was the worst part... in this situation, only family can help you but if we talk about breastfeeding, that you have to do yourself but just be careful about your sitting position,

if you had stitches avoid wearing belt, because it may pressurize your stiches... once you feel relief in stiches, start wearing the belt.. i am telling about normal delivery, which i had... don't know about c-section
U can wear belt after 1-2 weeks after c section.. I too had 3 c section.. and I wore belt all the 3 times.. as a house wife we cannot go to gym to reduce r belly.. so wear belt as tight as possible.. but after u get ur stitches removed..
eat everything you want to have but in limits specially garam cheezein avoid krna, coz it may lead to a miscarriage.... otherwise eat everything and during 9th month in pregnancy, start having "kadha" of 1 tablespoon 'kadwi saunf' (dill seed) and small piece of jaggery. take 3 cups of water boil it and let it be 1 cup... have it one time daily, with little exercise and regular walk.. your normal delivery will become smooth with less pain and in short span of time... it is really good...
