Easy to make vacuum hose holder. It has rare earth magnets so it can sit on metal table tops or can be clamped on a workbench. www.jax-design.net / 512430528895179
You actually gave me a great idea, with those magnets for a more universal dustsucking system so i can use it for most of my smaller machine. To the drawingtable!!
Brilliant stuff as usual . The magnets are a really great idea . Should be used in more projects . Many thanks for all the work in making these videos.
Great video and process. I made hose holder similar to the one on your bench. The bench top holder works great. I like this one with the magnets attaching to any metal table and ext...Thank you for sharing and keeping it simple and efficient.
Świetny pomocnik. Kiedyś wierciłem otwory na zawiasy i nie mogłem wymyślić jak przymocować rurę do odkurzacza. W końcu przykleiłem taśmą do stojaka od wiertarki. Pozdrawiam.
I like the idea here . Was wondering what you might think about switching out the work beds of table saw, drill press and the like with ridged grid like milk crate patterned metal or something. then we could add colection ducts and catchments under grids and just switch the hose around to were we need it at the time or install shop vac system with each unit having its own vac line. I favor something with just the single hose as I have a garage shop that is very small so even hoses and pipes need to be kept to the bare minimum. Just my 2 cents
Nice little project i have just a little shop i dont need big dust extractor or vac system ( maybe someday) but for now that will work just fin thanks for sharing
rare earth magnets? you mean neodymium magnets or samarium-cobalt magnets?? i have a case full of neo's. great for a lot of things, and still affordable if you dont need the biggest ones. nice job with the magnets.
***** I admire your work, I would like to meet you if i were to visit Canada, you have a very creative mind, i love you jack, until next time, the woodwork is very increased in Turkey but unfortunately we lack 'master'(s) like you in here, you would be rich in Turkey with your handiwork :) but i am very well aware that you do this for a hobby, thank you for being an inspiration for us, we are awating your work very excited!
Your a good problem solver. Those magnets come in handy all over the shop!
Well, I found my next project. Great job Jack! Thank you for this and all your videos. I'm glad I found your page.
Great idea Jack I use my tabletop drill press as a spindle sander and this will work great to take care of all the dust.
Another nifty gadget from Jack! Keep them coming
Good idea Jack The magnets make it hold on to most of your shop power tools.
hot darn ! smart and simple as usual.
Jack, YOU are the man !
Thanks for coming up with these simple projects and sharing them !
Nice practical idea, I liked the angled cut with the hole saw, on the drill press!

Very clever. Thanks for sharing.
Good idea and build! Thanks for sharing Jack.
Very nice, Jack. I'll be making one of those.
Great idea! Even on the drill press that caught a lot of the chips.
Nice! I made something similar a few weeks ago. Not nearly as elaborate as yours but it gets the job done.
Such a clever fellow Jack. Hey I neede this as I made something similar this week but I like your idea better
Dale

Great idea Jack. Cheers Harry
Great idea! Must try this...
Love your vids.
Kool idea, I going to make one!
I need one for my drill press.
good idea; well done. For shop vacs/hose couplings has anyone done a definitive pvc adapter sizing video?
Great idea Jack!
Hi Jack, I am going to build one of those today. Can you show how to make a mini drill press using a hand drill?
excellent idea.
Nice. I'm Gonna make one!
Love your mini push sticks...but to close for me...
rare earth magnets? you mean neodymium magnets or samarium-cobalt magnets?? i have a case full of neo's. great for a lot of things, and still affordable if you dont need the biggest ones. nice job with the magnets.
Thanks I will make a couple of these for my shop.
I love this. Great idea
I like how you use one to clean up shavings while making the other. Now how about a video about how to make shop vacs quieter? ;-) Be well.
Good idea
brother very well you know ..Greetings from turkey :)

I like it. Where did you get those magnets anyway?
***** Thanks. I never think to look for magnets there.
Are the cups the only thing holding the magnets in place? What stops them from then sticking to the iron table top when you pull the holder off?
I bet they might be more likely to stay on the table if you lever it off, but if you slide it off, they'll definitely stay in the cups.
Easy - love it!
wouldnt it be easier cut the bottom of the 2x4 at an angle and then drill straight and not sand the plywood at an angle?
Have you ever had kick back on your table saw .noticed your even cross cutting on small pieces ...
Without a riving knife
Ngnini simple idea of wasting much time cleaning and explain the practical and AVI Thank you
Great design, although the magnets with countersunk holes in them might be even better.
But what's with those tiddy pushsticks ? LOL
Kind of you to deliberately drill a little too deep so that you could show us how to fix it if we did it accidentally. Thanks Jack.
