I met Ali December of 1970 in Cherry Hill, NJ just prior to his Supreme court date. His was very serious then. Parkinson"s disease: A disorder of the central nervous system that affects movement, often including tremors.
      Nerve cell damage in the brain causes dopamine levels to drop, leading to the symptoms of Parkinson's.
      Parkinson's often starts with a tremor in one hand. Other symptoms are slow movement, stiffness, and loss of balance.
      Medications can help control the symptoms of Parkinson's.

      In this fight he was just clowning around. It was an exhibition match and Ali usually wanted to entertain the audience. Hence he would not finish off his opponents in one or two rounds. Also Ali said he always wanted to win on points and not by causing life threatening injuries to his opponents.

To get in that kind of shape & mindset at that point of his career was truly underappreciated & to me it now becomes 1 of his greatest performances, as well as possibly his greatest accomplishment in the ring.
