ABSOLUTELY love your new (within the year vids). The breakdown of the themes within the log in music is EXACTLY what my current fixation needed (wow music)

Can I just say that I absolutely adore the presentation of these login videos you've been putting out lately? From the listing of each individual piece to matching it with the appropriate visuals, it does the work that went into these xpacs and their respective compositions a really great amount of justice

Your descriptions are always spot on, I'm of the exact same mind. For me, especially Malach is one of the greatest.

Definitely my favourite Login music along with Cataclysm. Love the Call of the Warrior track especially at 4:27.

Nice clean callback to the classic style. I remember the little dragon icon that would slot perfectly into your annotation interface

@@grapejuice664 Check this guy's older videos, they had a different layout based around RUclips annotations. You can see the silhouette where the channel icon would slot into when you hovered over the video.

0:21 The most badass login music of them all imo.

Quite incredible how I always agree with your descriptions. WoD's is definitely one of the best/most 'Warcraft'. Lots of emotions and epicness in this one.

If only the expansion itself wasn't... you know... what it was lmao. They had a real golden opportunity with this one. the design and music teams took that opportunity and absolutely nailed it, gameplay team squandered it.

The opportunity got lost when they made Cataclysm and changed the direction, taking out all the parts that made it a MMO for the sake of the casual gamer /=
Still admire the music and visuals but thats such a shame.

@@PuellaMagiHomuraAkemi Eh, I disagree. WoD had the opportunity to go the extra mile, to make content that brings back the original Warcraft feel while also introducing us to Draenor as it was before the Legion fucked it up.
In line with 'bringing back OG warcraft', they could have further built upon the class system they badly reworked in Cata, which they already vastly improved in pandaria. They could have reintroduced some of the great vanilla features while keeping the bad parts about that character building system in the past. They didn't. Instead, they tried to hop on the "your character is a commander!" hype-train that plagued other MMOs at the time and made the most shallow player-housing system I have ever seen in any MMO ever in Garrisons. And worst of all, they pruned a lot of interesting class abilities. The focus of the gameplay team was everywhere EXCEPT where it needed to be: making unique class design, to accompany the already decent dungeon and raid design they had going since Pandaria. That missed opportunity has nothing to do with cata.

Cata started to make leveling meaningless, it became something you just did for raids instead of an experience as it should be in a mmo. Every expansion after continued this sadly and it got more and more silly.

I find it strange that Warlords onwards there hasn’t been a “call back to the previous expansion” segment. I used to love those little throwback clips mixed into the main piece.

You could consider "Blockrock" a call back to Warcraft 3

I think WoD was great, it just got a lot of content cut and unfortunately the garrison left a sour taste in people's mouth.. However I enjoyed the hell out of the expansion with my Mythic raiding guild, I just thought it didn't really have enough content, but the content that was there was good imo.

Not necessarily my favourite, but so jolly good it hardly matters. It's a fantastic piece. Feels like everything was made to fit together, which I'm not sure they've really managed since.

Overwatch killed potentially good expansion, and nice ideas (sup to all harrison multimillioners back in the time). Foundry was such a mindblowing raid
