I have enjoyed your hardanger instructional videos. I have been checking to see if you are back, but 6 months has passed and no more videos from you. I hope all is well and that you are happily stitching away.

Thank you so much for your concern. I am well, just not stitching as much as before - have been busy knitting socks! I will return to stitching once my family all have new socks! Thanks again!

You were great, Nina. I can appreciate how hard it is to try to work through a camera lens. I have enjoyed all your hardanger videos and refer to them often. Thanks for taking the time to make the videos for us. Happy Holidays to you and your family.

I love your videos, thanks so much for sharing your talent. pls continue to make lots of videos. Is the material in this one aida cloth?? Also can you do hardanger on aida cloth or does it have to be a certain type of cloth. I get so confused with all the different kinds of material. thanks

+Lisa Knapp Hi Lisa. It is confusing! Aida does not work for Hardanger. However any other evenweave will work. 22 count Hardanger is the most common and probably easiest to start with. My favourite material to do Hardanger on is 25 count Lugana. Hope this helps!
      Thanks so much for watching!

Please come back! I am a new subbie, I am new to new to hardanger and I live in an area where there isn't much info on this. So I turned to RUclips. I like your patient style.

I always mess this stitch up! However, I noticed that you use pencil lines which seem like a really good idea I'm going to try that :)

Hi Nanny - I'm not certain what you meant by pencil lines. Are you looking at the paper pattern or at the fabric? If you're looking at the fabric, those lines are made with sewing thread and will be removed when I'm done my stitching. I just wanted to make sure you're not marking your fabric with pencil (although you could use a removable type ink).
      Have fun stitching!
      Nina

You are quite correct Nina, I did mistake the thread for pencil! However, I watched several other videos in your series and realized my mistake luckily before I had used the pencil!
