- I visited The Netherlands a couple of weeks ago. Zeelander Yachts are located there in the middle of the beautiful Dutch countryside and a host of historic windmills.
Their new production facility is quite extraordinary...as is the Z72 Yacht!

Great retro styling and 'drive yourself' yacht. I love that the last vlogs have been focusing on the drive yourself yachts as this is such a big part of the total yachting world.
Also happy that you are promoting our Dutch Yachting heritage as the word YACHT originates from our Dutch language.
Patrick have you checked out Maurizio on the Boat Show take the Z72 through its paces in Newport? He had the yacht slaloming at 40 knots without the yacht ever leaving its vertical line. The Z72 would be just as happy in Dutch and UK waters as the Med and has the ability to get you through the Bay of Biscay. With a range of 1300nm at 10 knots this is a go anywhere yacht. With a top speed of 40 knots no need to worry about Somalian pirates as you exit Suez!! Superb design and craftsmanship and no doubt will sell extremely well in North America with its adaptability and overall quality.
Hi from The Netherlands, also nice tour(video) of a manufacturer not known by the masses, more of these would be nice.

What an amazing Yacht, easily one of the most beautiful, in a classic sense, I've seen on the channel. I hope this film does well and continues to build bigger boats. Would love to see what they would do in the 100ft zone.

Wow. Just wow. There are "ultimate" boats (my opinion) in each category, an Oyster for sailing, Fleming for comfortable long distance exploring, Duchy as a gentleman's day cruiser and then Zeelander for the full Rolls-Royce experience. Princess Yachts is like a regular S-class compared to this. Absolutely breathtakingly beautiful yacht.

Good to see them build bigger and (even) more luxurious. A segment of buyers is used to a Bentley like quality, so when purchasing such a Z72 I think they will not be disappointed.

That’s some real craftsmanship right there. Once you mentioned how intricate the hull design was, I couldn’t stop looking at it in every outside shot of the boat! This boat in particular reminds me of a Hinkley.

I'm not sure I'd be entirely comfortable on a fiberglass vessel much larger than this one. Maybe if they could integrate some steel or aluminum structural supports into the glass.
Was thinking this exact same thing. Somewhere between 90 and 120ft would look amazing with this same style.
@@michiganengineer8621 yeah but they won't be the first builder to transition away from FG as they scale up, it's just what has to happen. This design would scale beautifully, but that transition is gonna be a big hurdle to cross

Gorgeous boat. I have a bit of a thing for the _Riviera Belieze_ and the _Solaris Lobster_ and this is definitely a worthy entry into the "21st century 1950s" look.

A very beautiful, elegant, piece of work that oozes synergy across the different trades to produce a quality, truly eloquent piece of artwork in a yacht. If I win the lottery it would certainly be on the list. A remarkable yacht manufactured by a team that understands and respects the end clients interest, bespoke requirements and integrates them into the design and final product as a challenge to deliver the final masterpiece.

I like to watch yacht videos and hands down these are absolutely the most beautiful yachts of any size I’ve seen. If I could afford to build any yacht of any size, I’d choose this builder. While I wouldn’t have chosen the interior wood and interior finishes that the owner chose for the yacht featured, that’s why this builder crafts bespoke yachts. That said, the attention to detail in this boat is stunning.

Thats a great looking boat, similar styling as another builder in the Netherlands Wajer. A lot of nice boats of all sizes, both power & sail, come out of the Netherlands.

I was actually inspired to look for any job vacancies at Zeelander! However, I do not speak Dutch, do not have an EU passport (thanks Brexit) and am unlikely to be qualified in anything useful other than tea-making. However, this tour of their facility and one of their stunning yachts is some compensation!

I'd like to see a new Zeelander being bought by an old New Zealander.
New Zealander here! Someone sort out the funding and I'll place an order 😂 sadly she's a bracket or two above my price range, but she'd look bloody sweet cruising into Auckland Harbour from a trip up to Paihia or the likes. Heck it's got the range to sail to Sydney and on from there if you're up for it
New Zealand would be one boat more beautiful than it already is!

Cheers. Not really appreciated a Zeelander before. Very beautiful yachts. Got to admit, I’m a sucker for clever/elegant designs. Was thinking the bow looked a little Riva’ish, and worried that it was elegance over practicality. Then the swim platform folded out. Fantastic!
