Thanks for coming by and checking this out everyone! I hope you like it. Stay safe out there!
Lee McKinney Dude this is fucking sick!
Lee McKinney you are the the only ginger on guitar that takes my soul away.
Holy fuck this is sick.
@@Chasecka Thanks!
@@seizuresalad91 hahaha!
Who needs vocals when you have a saxophone
who needs all players when you have alif ba ta
ruclips.net/video/6RN8BoBLj2E/видео.html
Mars Volta’s wind section man!!
*Rivers of Nihil has left the chat*
The Article it’s to showcase the guitar and sax...
Dude honestly this whole album doesn't need a damn word because the guitar reels you in more securely than any love song my bro.
Mannnn, this rips so hard. I think he’s come such a long way as a guitarist and he honestly writes such great melodies. I stan the fuck outta Lee
Same man. His playing is tremendously clean. Glad to still see him uploading solid content 🤘😊
With Lee's viking look, I dub this Sax N' Metal 🤘
haha!!
Squatch32 dood come on...that was good!!!
@@MrSleepyj85 thank you, thank you (takes a bow)
Yooooooo 🤣🤣🤣💯💯💯💯
Haaa! Fkn classic bro
Man, this has MAD feels. It's like I Built The Sky & Plini had a baby.
Woah. Haven't seen an I Built the Sky name drop is soooo long.
You mean shrezzers
.........Yea, bruh, like omg, da feelz is real. Ya feel me? Nawmsayin? Sheeeeeeit
I found it pretty robotic. Impressive technique of course, but kind of a dull composition.
I would really like to see someone combine this level of precision playing with a bit more wildness and insanity. Few since Steve Vai have done that.
@@peachmelba1000 I'd agree here. The timing on everything is so exact, and I love that. But I feel there's something almost kind of "missing" from this. Either way, amazing song. Great work!
That's funny - I love Born Of Osiris for years, but didn't know how awesome you are outside the band. My personal music discovery of the year.
Thank you Lee for this little masterpiece!
Same! He's freaking awesome man!
Sax has definitely become the new standard in the prog/djent scene
Thanks Owane and friends
Kiesel Guitars are lookin pretty good nowadays.
They have some of the best looking guitars for their price point . Tho headstockless guitars are just plain ugly
They are but I just cant get past the headless look. It just seems so...wrong.
@Ewolf5150 13 guitars dude, what are you doing!?!?!?!
I guess it’s like drummers and Cymbals...
Nah bro its risky business. For a high end guitar, I want it to be flawless especially if I am paying at 2.5k - 3k price range. I have heard they are really bad at handling customer complaints.
Like a breath of fresh air, this track is so rejuvenating.
10/10.
Has to be one of the sickest tapping riffs i've ever heard.
We need more saxophone with Lees playing!
Beautiful! Everything goes better with Sax!! Happy Sunday everyone!!!
by far one of my favorite songs of all time.
When you're metal AF but still get down with Kenny G
686jld KENNY G CORE
686jld 🥇
@Rick djent memes and kenny G memes... Pat Metheny is definitely not happy about this.
@Chon. They may not be metal but they did play with Kenny G. Legendary
lmao yessss
That is one of the most shockingly beautiful guitars I've ever seen. As good as this song.
Want the sax doubling the tapping section.
Oh wow...Lee DOES have some piano in the background playing the tapping notes in the bridge/chorus on the back end of the song, but hearing the sax play it would be amazing.
💯
I was thinking the same thing!! That would be hard to execute consistently for a song but would be cool to hear for sure 👍
@Jeff T pshhh bro i used to play last resort by papa roach on my sax in high school lol its possible. Clearly you never think outside the box.
That'd make a great fade-out ending!🤘
My fav track off the album. Just seeing them both play is mesmerizing
Man this is one the heaviest and most soothing songs I heard in the last decade thank you for the feels
Everyone sleeps on the woodwind section until they're featured in metal. I dig this song.
Big facts, coming from a metalhead that played first chair clarinet 💪
Listening to this track is a truly transcendental experience. I could just fly away from my body. Thank you Lee.
Please release more videos! I’m loving this!
that Lee's album is really underappreciated
Bless Lee's heart! Pure metal genius!
When the Sax came in I knew something special was about to happen. This is an amazing fusion
Feel like I've been missing out because this is the first time I've heard this.
Such an epic piece of music.
same here, 100% agree [el'sda2].
The freshest cut and beard I’ve seen in metal!
Plus sax 💦
Man I would have never thought a saxophone could enhance some good ol’ fashion riffage!!! Super tight fellas !!!
This man is blessed and I'm blessed I found this man's music
It's known that whenever you reach god level as a guitar player, you have to go turtleneck and chains.
Tosin Abasi mode hahaha
"Well you loose a lot of heat in the neck"
-letterkenny
😆
Is ruffled shirt above or below black turtleneck? Lol
Lmao turtleneck n chains
Most beautiful piece of music I've ever heard
VIDEOS LIKE THIS ARE SO FCKING AWESOME !
SUMERIAN RECORDS RULES!
This guy plays soooooo clean man. Effortless like Rick Graham. Love it!
Whoa didn't expect to see Adrian, but it's not the first time he plays with a Sumerian artist
this sax core is beautiful... seriously, im addicted to this track
The unique combination of guitar and saxophone is something I didn't know I needed. Hope everyone stays safe during Quarantine and keeps listening to badass music. Great work!
- Riana & Reece
Check shrezzers band. They have awesome tunes with the sax combined to metal
@@eymardguerrero Thanks for the suggestion! I just checked them out now and they are great. My favorite ones were Delight and Reminiscent.
@@reeceriana9160 i love mystery. They are really underrated. Melodies are just top notch.
@@eymardguerrero Agree, I listened and like that one too. Glad you showed it to me because I never heard of it before. Hopefully they'll eventually get the recognition they deserve.
This is one of the most brilliant and beautiful compositions I've seen in awhile. Wow, and thank you!! 💓
And why am I late to this.
This is fire.
Literally one of my favorite guitarists of all time.
Born Of Osiris also is ABSOFUCKINGLUTELY MANDAFUCKINGTORY hands down crushingly dam good and one of my favorite METAL bands of all time
Could it be that we just witnessed the birth of "smooth djent"?
Grandude Tonesnob no
@@chaddebeau0308 I knew there had to be someone here that remembers the Miami vice years !
I'm not crying you are... this is beyond beautiful
Glad to have met this man back in 2010
i just want mention how much i love how focused Lee looks while playing the leads
Saxophones and metalcore go together so damn well. Shrezzers does this too and it's sick!
So does Vitalism. :D
Shrezzers is the fucking best! I honestly think no one does it better than they do atm tbh.
the new world musician we are in the 21st century.... Beyond greatness...... time for music to expand.. Great arrangement...... skill and guitar craftsmanship at a point of Zenith,,,,,, upper stratosphere zone of guitar playing
This was like a fine wine, kind of smelled if first before I took a sip. Full bodied with notes of Aaron Marshall, very soft and less tannic than BoO.
Its amazing the fact that saxophone blends well with metal/rock music.
Yeah you just described a typical Midwest Emo.
Stay home and practice guitaaaaaaaarrrrrr
Great combination guys...🤟🤟🤟👏👏👏
"It's too late. Always has been, always will be. Too late."
- Dr. Manhattan
Had to come back and listen again. Wonderful brothers. You guys aren't jumping around screaming. The music is relatable.
God bless you and stay safe.
Omg, where do I start to dissect this song??...The perfect guitar tones, the sweet melodies and harmonies with the Sax...such a chill vibe yet I could still mosh to it. The song is designed SO well from verse to verse, the transitions are seamless, the rhythm section has long pauses in it so your ears can focus on the leads...You even put a "tick-tock" from a clock in the end of the song...Fucking genius!
This is the type of music I strive to write myself but I lack the understanding of music you have, and I'm 1/2 as talented on guitar. So fucking good man...
There's so many talented metal musicians out there right now making phenomenal guitar music holy crap
Yeah I love how much guitar has evolved recently. Really gives me motivation as a guitarist
That reminds me...I should listen to more T.R.A.M.
Firing up Haas Kicker as we speak.
Loved that album aswell so sad that there is probably no new Album
Epic album that one is.
Discovered this song today, it's the 5th time I've listened to it and had to see a playthough and try decipher the wizardry you possess to learn this myself. I love this, especially with the addition of sax. Just perfection!
3:20 Man's pulled out the Green Ranger Dragon Flute WTF WAS THAT ?!
You killed me bro 😂
I’m pretty sure it’s an EWI
Vape God man
He literally whipped it out right when I was reading this comment didn't even have to check the timestamp
This always keeps getting recommended and I finally clicked it. No regrets
I dig 🤘🤙 sexy guitar too
saxophone and guitar we need more of this combo such a great song.
The Suckerz [Daniele Montesi] ooo daniè
Bella pe Daniele
Lol at the EWI that appears for all of five seconds without any noticeable sound. That being said, this is an AMAZING track. Could listen to it on repeat forever.
Rivers of Nihil did a good job setting the sax trend!
Lee this is beautiful incorporation of jazz and metal
I love that tapping section, does anybody know if I can find tabs for this? If not I'm gonna figure it out by myself then LOL
I have digital and physical tabs on the Sumerian Merch store!
@@LeeMcKinney I only see the physical signed tab book in the store, not the digital tabs.
Check Plini - Electric Sunrise too, if you love that tapping part
Amazing!!!!
Genial esos solos de ambos
Man, Clowncore got really good here
Looks like they finally moved out of the outhouse
So we can just put any word on front of core and everyone is okay with it? I love listening to tirecore or grasscore.
@@dontpanic9261 ruclips.net/video/frZAL0YRDJ0/видео.html
@@dontpanic9261 clowncore is a group...that features saxophone. Very relevant comment.
Absolutely amazing!!!
Sax and this kind of metal pair so well together. Reminds me of Tesseract.
SAX METAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Much Love from Michigan!!!!!
The irony of a video for a song titled "clock without a craftsman" that has a finely machined custom analog clock in the background is almost too much.
Mind blowing! It's stuck in my head like an earworm! 🤘🤘
Lee one time you took a picture with me and I don’t even have it anymore but Thankyou.
Two different styles of music but they fit well hand and hand together. Totally dig this song 😎🙂👍👌
That's baby making music that's what that is..
F'n rippin!! *Omg* 🤘 Lee is ripping it here big time perfectly mixed I love the saxophone breakdown ☺
He's the true Guitar Hunter. With each lick, and riff he kills, he develops more and more tattoos, revealing the map to the core...of metal.
Vampire Folklore lol
@@Noirxheart super gay bro.
One of my top favorite metal music guitar players of all time.
Lee is absolutely hands down soooooooooooooooooo dam good n phenomenal that it's not even funny.
This track gave me a saxually transmitted disease.... I’ll see myself out.
No no, come back. That was pretty punny
😂😂😂😂😂
Bahahahaha 😂 This is the comment to do me in
This comment got me rollin lol
Wow amazing!!!!! Beautiful guitar also!
Wtf just happened to my brain.
Imagine when you understand liberals wanna tongue your butt while you say no.
Felt good dinnit?
Are there tabs for this anywhere? Can’t find them
This is the song i would have play if Myspace was still a thing.
OK ok! That's really freaking awesome! Diggin it!
i found its hard to love circumcised guitar...
Just.... wow. Beautiful.
Still hoping for a Born Of Osiris album. I keep checking everyday for a new BOO song, but this is cool to..
@Stephen j There was supposed to be a second part to it. It was supposed to release before this year but it never did. I looked it up to see if it was delayed but never found anything
This is the perfect blend of metal and easy listening 🔥 thanks Lee
He used to have a soul but it all went into his music \m/
:) soulful piece that's true
Trickiest riff I’ve ever tried to learn how to play/perfect. Such an awesome sound!
He can play this song on a keyboard
This song is just pure craftsmanship at it's finest!
Nothing screams metal like a turtleneck and a pony tail.
It screams because it is not obvious
Absolutely beautiful and captivating
Libertarianism and free markets?
Fuck yeah, that's my stuff.
Fabulous tune! Cheers from one ginger guitarist to another! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Is he in scientology now or what? This symbol on his necklace looks very like the scientology symbol
I've never a seen a Scientology symbol that looks like that...pretty sure it's a compass rose

Cant believe Im hearing this just now. Goosebumps. This is beautiful guys ! ♡
AWESOME
NO WORDS MORE TO DEFINE
JUST AWESOME
Kenny G meets beautiful metal. Soothing, yet empowering. Thanks for this.
I’m not crying, you’re crying. 🥺 that sax is beautiful.
absolutely brilliant. can't stop listening
