Mindomo deserve much more attention. Been using it for 3 years now; reevaluating each year. It surprises me Mindmeisters have more market share while being clearly inferior. Surprising also Google or Microsoft didn't try to buy it or clone it. Anyway the Mindomo team is real talented. Great video, keep it up!
@@AuthorLevelUp i am a student its ok if the app doesn't allow me to collaborate online but i want a mind map software which lets me add notes, video, audio, images to the map also it should work offline. I dont need any kind of online collab or online storage i just need it to let me save as many mind maps i want on my laptop. will the free version allow me do all of the above?
Interesting review but - as I assume you're targeting would-be writers - the lack of evaluation on the export to Word (for example) seems remiss. This tool looks great but who wants plain text notes as the default output format? I suppose I could push Markdown into notes and then use a formatting tool but I would hope that a tool such as this might look to focus on getting content *out* of their tool with the same focus on getting it in. Just my view.
Hmmm... good information. But, there are other Mind Mapping applications that are not subscription based that have (at least) the same capability. Perhaps a comparison of Mind Mapping applications would have added value to your claims about Mindomo. In fact, Comparison of Mind Maps and different uses of Mind Maps would make a good future blog.
@@joemoya9743 it's on the software page www(dot)mindomo.com/mind-mapping-software www(dot)mindomo.com/desktop/pricing.htm it's 69 € with one year updates and support there is also free software version but it's limited to 40 nodes for each mindmap
@@micro7567 Is it called Desk Top Premium? If so, then (after initial one-time purchase of $69) it has an optional annual cost of $36 US / yr. for updates and support with limited number of cloud maps (but, no mention of the limit). That seems to mean that the lifetime license applies to only the version on date of purchase with limited cloud maps. Correct?
@@joemoya9743 yes Desktop Premium but after one year, you won't get any updates for me I think the subscription is the better value basic account (educational pricing) is 36 € for one year you also get the software license that works as long you have a subscription
On the website it now says the estimated release date is 30th August 2019. (See: www.literatureandlatte.com/scrivener-3-for-windows-update) I hope it really will *finally* release on that date... but the key word is "estimated" /sigh
Which software do you think its the best? I was just about to purchase xmind but now I am considering mindomo, I like like that xmind has perpetual license.
That's always an option. I find it hard to convert pencil and paper to digital. I like to keep my ideas handy on my phone, but that's probably just a personal preference.
You lost most at 6 months free when there are programs out there such as freemind. When do companies get that stage one is to build your audience. Put that on your mind map
Freemind is a good mindmapping tool but it lacks beautiful themes and interface, presentation view, collaboration capabilities, and sharing your map as an interactive mindmap

You are the best. I have been working on Mindomo for over 6 years and your way of teaching is far superior to other videos I have seen.
Agreed - I love the way you teach and think you're adorable!!

it's under google now, I came here because I saw it on google apps.
This is awesome! Feels like the world is in my hand! I can do literally anything I want with it! Good job!
That’s how I felt too. :)

Very nice, but I can't justify the price.

Oh man! You are the best. I like your channel. Here is a question for your future videos: why still there Is no Scrivener 3 for windows?
Great question. I’m not sure. It was supposed to happen last year but didn’t for some reason. Probably development snags.
The last Scrivener Beta update will end in July. The best guess is that Scrivener 3 for windows will come soon after July.

I liked your video
but you've forget presenter tool which is very fantastic in Mindomo
Great video, one of the best
How to connect multiple nodes forward into a single node? There is no such feature in Mindomo that I could find. Pls suggest?
The app looks really pretty and has some neat tricks under its sleeve. But I don't trust anything subscription based.

It's possible to add also file like ( pdf or something like this).... for each category or sub category!?

The pricing is right here: www.mindomo.com/pricing.htm
hi. have you every heard of a mind map app that allows putting video clips on the map? or even embedding videos?
like over 5GB. like maybe up to.500GB
Not at the moment. That doesn't mean there isn't one, though.
Doesn’t Mindomo does it that’s described in the clip? Or is it just that it has limited storage
