Thank you Jason for this gift. I need to get my daughter's kitty done for Christmas and this helped inspire me. It also identified some troubled spots I have and how to fit it. She has two tortie calicos, one long hair and one short. For some reason I find short hair harder than long hair and I am sure it's because I am not concentrating on building the layers in tones. I will go back to drawing board, use this as a guide.
Hi Jason, I would love to do pastels but I had bought the Carbothello pastels pencils but every time i open it and try to use it, the chemical smells bothers me. I was wondering if you experienced that too or do I just have a bad set? The smell doesn't seem to go away. Im trying to leave them outside as long as possible.
I'm very interested in joining patron but had a poor experience with another artist not being able to find what I needed. I have a Kindle tablet not an iPad or a PC. Will I be able to take full advantage of a patreon subscription?

I have trouble with the pencil showing up on top of a pastel under layer.
