honestly I would say its pretty similar all year round, as we do not have four seasons here, only summer 🥲 but I would suggest that you avoid June/November/December periods as these periods are school holidays and there may be huge crowds at local attractions 😊

It was so nice seeing *Kyuho’s parents* - they seem so easy-going and sweet! Mooncakes, for people who aren’t making the connection, are eaten during the Mid-Autumn Festival, which is the Chinese/Vietnamese equivalent of _chuseok._ Lotus paste with a whole salted egg yolk (representing the moon), which is what is in the video, is probably the most traditional filling but my favorite is winter melon, which, to me, is a bit like shredded pineapple (if such a thing exists). That was _easily_ my favorite RUclips video about Singapore. It really made me want to go there.
Oh my gosh! What a fabulous trip and that was only part one! I have now added Singapore to my list of places to visit! Already looking for the next "episode"! Mahalo and Aloha! Darlene
thanks for recording this !! I always find that people who live in other countries have a unique perspective that I, as a Singaporean don't see often. You've shown such a beautiful side of Singapore to the point where I wondered, is it really where I live? That was until the auntie shouted "LAI OFFER, LAI!!" (COME THERE'S AN OFFER HERE!) at you guys at the mooncake store that i realized that this is truly truly the home I live it. Nice one, auntie. (in Singapore we just call any ahjumma auntie, we also call our own aunties auntie)
We were there at the same time celebrating our anniversary and for our annual trip visiting family in nearby countries. Love this vid - simultaneously making my mouth water, miss family and friends, wanting to be back there and go on more adventures! Hope you had a wonderful stay xx

I used to live in Singapore and it was absolutely amazing. I visited Seoul too but still think Singapore is more comfortable to live in. I was shocked to see that you hadn't been to Clark Quay at night even if you live right there until I saw the trailer for Pt 2 :) Definitely a lively place a couple like you would enjoy. Further recommandations: Tiong Bahru, Tanjong Pagar and Bras Basah areas PS: the editing was very good

cree Well, as a Singaporean, when it is HOT it It about 34-35 degrees Celsius but when it rains😍 it is at around 24-25 degrees Celsius.It is also sunny and rainy all year round. Rainy weather is best to sleep in.
Muhammad Afiq. I'm tired of the cold here in Canada. Officially it's spring, but the weather is still below zero deg Celsius. You can't go out in shorts and t shirts. I'll exchange the cold weather here for the hot weather in Singapore!
Singapore is beautiful. The food, the people, the sights...but the heat/humidity is incredible! I would walk into random stores just for respite from the heat! Having said that, I'd go back & explore more in a heartbeat :)
I have seen many vlogs about Singapore but yours is really easy and enjoyable to watch. Even though I am Singaporean, I don't like mooncake (too sweet and heavy) nor durian (omg the smell).
Glad you enjoyed your time here! Hope you come back for more food! If you want a foodie guide just give a holler. Lotsa Singaporeans are foodies, so chances are you'll find a volunteer in seconds. Those durians were not good. IMHO, a good durian significantly improves the chances of a durian virgin liking their experience, instead of declaring they never go near another durian again for as long as they live.
very good video, great night shots of the city, singapore has a very high living standard and you have shown it. Thanks for the insight to Singapore. Your perents must be on the rich side as the places ( hotels)and restaurants you are eating in aren't cheap. Malaysia , next door is far less expensive. still great info .

FYI, you can look up the quick kaya recipe so you can make it at home. You just need egg, sugar and coconut milk. If you can't find the pandan locally, no biggie.

You guys finally came to Singapore. Welcome! Durian.... i am not a Fan too.... You chose a regular mooncake, the really expensive ones taste better. I hope you had fun ! It can be expensive to live here.... but there are many types of cuisine and hence the different prices too. Waiting for your part 2... i am sure the hot weather was too much for you... We are experts in hiding from the sun. The video is so well taken !

FYI, you can look up the quick kaya recipe so you can make it at home. You just need egg, sugar and coconut milk. If you can't find the pandan locally, no biggie.

You guys finally came to Singapore. Welcome! Durian.... i am not a Fan too.... You chose a regular mooncake, the really expensive ones taste better. I hope you had fun ! It can be expensive to live here.... but there are many types of cuisine and hence the different prices too. Waiting for your part 2... i am sure the hot weather was too much for you... We are experts in hiding from the sun. The video is so well taken !
