We're Eric & Allison and we're on a journey to find the most interesting places and unique foods this planet has to offer! We've traded in our steady paychecks and permanent home for a life of travel and adventure. Come along and see the world with us!
two grown ups acting like two little kids... thats what I call fun.. so glad to enjoyed my little town.... God bless you
QUEEN VIC MARKET has always been awesome...legendary
I just had vegemite for the first time recently. Piece of toasted bread, nice couple pats of butter and a half of a dime sized quantity of vegemite smeared on top so that it mixes with the butter is one of the most pleasant things ever!
Savory umami with a soy sauce saltiness and just a background hit of that brewer's yeast flavor it's wonderful! It's really better than I can describe it.
A little goes a long way, but I love it.
Its meant to go with cheese on toast not butter

Australian’s love their coffee. We do have Starbucks but most us Aussies go with a smaller coffee places.
Starbucks is merely flavoured slop. Aussies do it a million times better.
I usually just go to Starbucks for hot chocolate lol, tried a large cappuccino once, I actually opened the cap to see if they forgot to put espresso in there...
Hello my dear how are you today
how are you
American coffee is the worst.
VEGEMITE TIP, less is more, thin scrapping on toast, yum 👍😀
That is what I discovered with the Marmite. For sure.
Yep. It is NOT Australia's answer to peanut butter.
@@mrgraff Yes and when back in the UK great with a "Full Breakfast."
such a beautiful channel you have here. l love all aspects of your channel, and am happy to subscribe here.l,m evo form Australia'.take care👍👍👍👍👍
When I was a child my parents had a stall at the Vic Markets. The jam donuts are a memory from my childhood. I have not had them for years but they would be the first thing I would have if I went back. Great video!
So did mine 😊 Some of the stalls are in the same spots as they were 24 years ago.
Yes I love the Queen Victoria market 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I’m from Melbourne and I haven’t been there for years, wow it’s changed a lot. I’m so glad you’re both enjoying Melbourne Australia

Glad you visited my hometown! There’s so much more to see outside of Melbourne City. Victoria has sooo many lovely spots. Glad you had a great time. 😀🌸🌸
This is my favourite market when I visit. The kranksy stall is the best! Going to Melbourne on Saturday and I am very excited to go back.
Beautiful vlog, excellent works. Have a great day😍
Really happy to see a Sri Lankan Food Market in Victoria as a Sri Lankan. I watch your videos if I get free time. Love your channel.

You guys should visit Sri Lanka. No 1 tourist destination. You won't regret the visit here. Wildlife, nature and authentic food are the top 3 things you are going to experience like nowhere in the world. Love this video.

Lamb chops, potatoes and Brussel sprouts. OMG, you hit all 3 of my favorites in one meal. You literally had me drooling. And I really enjoyed the visit to the Vic Market. This is one of your great videos, at least for me!

I am from Perth. I know you said you didn’t have time this trip but I think it’ll really be worth it!! Good video :)
Love your tour of Australia. Big hugs,
Glen in England.
Melbourne 💕❣️❤️💖 OMG Sri Lankan food
I'm sri Lankan
I loved watching this video. I’m a Melbourne boy born and bred. I love this city. Your video really is so complimentary of our iconic Vic Market……
Australia has really high standard coffee, like the Flat White coffees. Never been to Melbourne only been to Sydney, looks good Melbourne :)
People call us coffee snobs haha. I’m living in HK at the moment and definitely missing my Aussie coffee 😭
you know where flat whites were created
Melbourne has he world's best coffee shops, bar none. I've been all over the world, and Melbourne, I guarantee, has the BEST.
@@ThePlataf nope average
@@ThePlataf okay will believe you not been to Melbourne myself.
Nice cooking. Thanks for sharing
I was living for 2 months in Melbourne back in 2011 and the $1/kg was exactly our tactic for getting food for the whole crew in our hostel (it is a 10min walk to the north). Gosh, I love and loved Melbourne so much.

This is so cute and chilled! The market looked so much fun to actually go and see and explore! & getting basically a half price meal at the end of it when you got money off. This seems like the chilled part of your Australian trip! 🇦🇺 looking forward to the Vegemite tasting!!
Please connect with foodies for delicious recipes 😋
looking forward to visiting next year ! Can’t wait to meet all the locals and fellow travellers !
Enjoying your video. Also love lamb chops. Buenas from Guam 🇬🇺 USA!
South Melbourne market is really good too. They do have an array of international stalls. Even fresh oysters and sashimi 😋
I'l go _far_ out of my way to eat really fresh oysters on the half-shell. But then, I never met an oyster I didn't -like- LOVE!
Please connect with foodies for delicious recipes 😋
Market looks great, both the cooked food and the produce. Both Sri Lankan dishes looked delicious, as did Allison’s lamb.

Those doughnuts are the stuff of dreams.....you can never eat too many of them....a billion calories in every mouthful, and it's pure bliss.
Thank you for sharing this video , very nice
Thanks for all you do!
You should come to the Dandenong Ranges south of the city for great views and big trees. Also Puffing Billy lives up here(steam train)
Omg I love the jam doughnuts Vic market n Lavington Market is good too
Eric, your 'some kind of squash' in your market meal was what we call Kent Pumpkin :)
apa, how are you?
Hope you guys will travel to the Caribbean soon. And I hope I will see you guys one day in Curaçao ❤🇨🇼🇨🇼❤️.. and have an amazing time for the rest of the trips.❤️
You should definitely go to Higher ground, best Melbourne breakfast definitely! Also the weather is super nice so you should definitely go to Goldilocks which is a very cute rooftop bar with amazing cocktails :)

Watch this video make me crave to go back to Melbourne. That jam donut from the van is one of must do ritual whever I go to Vic Mart during uni days in yr 1999-2001
Really enjoyed this video 👏
Please eat the vegemite the right way! Not giant spoonfuls PLEASEEEEE! Toast, butter and a small amount of it - perfect 👌
Sallyanne Wyllie nah, I like mine nice and thick so you can really taste it!
As an American who has owned my own jar of Vegemite, my preferred method is different. I like to toast some nice bread, butter it without being too stingy. Then I wave the toast plate over the jar of Vegemite before sitting down and looking at a photo of the Sydney Opera House, or Ayer's Rock, whichever, while I eat my unadulterated toast. That's how an American "eats" Vegemite.
Jane Thomas small amount for the newbies 😉
calichef1962 😂 perfect amount, ‘the essence of vegemite’ could just sell empty jars that have been in the factory
They are not going to like it no matter how they eat it
Thanks guys yet again. awesome food
Glad you had an awesome time in my home town 😀😀😀
"Sini sambal" 😋😋😋. You eat deliciously Sri Lankan foods😀😀. Im glad as Sri Lankan😍😍
Looks so delicious! I like it so much! 😋
Really enjoyed this video! This market looks fantastic! Btw, "Good night, Adventurers" "We'll see you on the road"
There are boreks at $4.00 in the food hall...they are so flavourful 👍 the doughnut Van has been there since 1950, and I think they’re vaguely Australia shaped. And for people from USA a kilo is 2.2 pounds.
Amazing Looks so delicious! Food
I enjoyed watching the Aussie videos,. Originally from Melbourne but moved to Canada as a teenager. And I love visiting markets and food tours. I just started watching your videos recently. Started with your Greece and Turkey videos because they are the highest on my bucket list. Now to move on to some of your other adventures. Still have a lot to catch-up on. Thanks for sharing.

Sausage and meats are truly excellent. We did overload on sweets. Market one of the best choices we made.
Im going to Melbourne in December. Looking for inspiration!! Love your videos
For a unique experience away from the main tourist market do try next time the wonderful South Melbourne markets and Footscray markets, both close to the city and easily accessible on train or tram
Loved this vlog! I live in Melbourne and Sylvia’s deli is my fav spot in the vic market. Market Organics is also great for ...you guessed it, organic produce teas etc.
Hi are you from Australia

There is a fantastic wine stall at the Vic Market where you can buy your wine and when you finish the bottle you can take it back there and they will refill it for you from the barrel. Their wine is terrific. Think they are based in the Yarra Valley. ☺️
great video guys i love melbourne im from sydney australia
Can’t go to the Victoria Market without having the cheap $4 Borek for lunch 🤤🤤
Love your video! Nice a little adventure on the most popular market in Melbourne.
Last weekend we were just there to take the guided foodie tour, a must to do for foodie lover 😍
We left the market with full stomach, we also had the amazing kangaroo meat from one of the deli stalls ❤️
Yes, the Queen Vic Borek is a favourite...

Fantastic! The market reminds me of the ones in Florida. Your lamb dinner looked so good. I have been to Melbourne as a child but only a day visit from ocean liners that transported us from England to Australia. Our destination was always Sydney.

You would absolutely love Melbourne, it like a mini world in one city. The food and coffee is the pride of Melbourne, along with the art scene. You would feel at home straight away, while still being a completely different scene compared to Køpenhavn. I have lived in Australia for 23 years now, with half of it in Melbourne and I absolutely love living here. We have a huge Scandinavian community here, and we all gather at the Swedish church, which is located in the old governor’s house/manor. It has a cafe, swimming pool, tennis court, ping pong table, library, chapel and most importantly a small food shop. So it is the Scandinavian social mostly, and the Christmas market is absolutely amazing as it is an opportunity to stock up on Scandinavian foods, arts and crafts and other goods.
I grew up just over the Bridge and have spent a lot of time in Køpenhavn in my youth, as well as spending a few days there every summer that I go home to visit my family. I absolutely love the torvhallarna, especially the place that makes those amazing duck confit rolls🤤👌🏻. I always end up leaving with my bag on wheels and my hands full of food to enjoy while I’m home and then add it to my suitcase that is normally filled with 20kg of food.
My Australian husband and I have had countless discussions about moving to Køpenhavn, once he retires we might just do that.

Delicious Food 😛 Love This Food 😍 Watching From Bangladesh 🇧🇩 Thanks For Share🌹
Love this place
i was enlightened becoz they got posty wallpaper omg!
Great fun video!
My last visit to Melbourne was in 2012. At the time there was this Spanish doughnuts truck at vic Market that sold churros, basically. It was SO AMAZING and so memorable that I remember it vividly to this day. No other churros I've had could compare to it. Wonder if they still have it. Also yes you literally can get almost anything at vic market. I bought a small 18-dollar luggage to bring home cause I just bought too much stuff during my entire stay there haha. I miss Melbourne so much! I've been to Perth too. But there is just some kind of charm and magic that Melbourne has.. It makes me feel more alive.

thanks for visiting my home town. you guys missed the Dim Sims at the vic market. that's what the market is famous for
Catch a Train from Melbourne to Broadmedows then the Airport Bus to Airport just Using your Myki Card for under $5 may take longer than Skybus .
Thanks for the tip I;ll remember that the next time Im in Melbourne
Awesome tip. I live in Melb.
I would love to go Melbourne and Sydney - Australia one day
From Melbourne the market is the best love the doughnuts!
I think the donut truck steps up on their jam game, mine has so much in it, it's so good
Watched a 5 and half minute ad for you guys.
If you are after the best donuts in Melbourne, go to Daniels Donuts. They have a couple of locations and are 24/7. They have so many flavours, it is almost impossible to choose, and really well priced for multi-packs. Welcome to Melbourne! I hope you guys are having a blast!

My brother lives in Melbourne and he never took my sister and I there! Ripped off! 😂 guess we’ll have to visit him again 😊💕 LOVE watching your guys’ adventures, great video! 🥰
Yes the jam donuts from there are awesome I live in Melbourne
I agree! Some locals literally coerced me to go and queue up for those hot jam donuts (in my VLOG), and it was SO WORTH IT!
New subscriber...enjoying your videos!!
Wow you are so greatly street food I love your video with Trent food ❤❤❤❤❤
Melbourne Jail, holding place of Ned Kelly is worth a look
Nice food Vlog ❤❤
Having lived in Sydney and Melbourne for 8 years, and now America for the last 22 years, I can straight up tell you that "Coffee" is non existent in the US. Most Americans would be shocked by the Gourmet stuff available in OZ, its breathtaking!
And Yes....Starbucks is Baloney as we say proudly here in California and elsewhere...I can make REAL coffee from Fresh Beans at home, that tastes a million times better for a Fraction of the Price~!
bro u americans always say that your country sucks. Have some self-respect ur country's not that bad.
I hope our visa come early and we could travel to Melbourne this year ❤️
Goodnight adventurers , see you on the road !!!! First time it’s not been said !!!! 👍👍
I love this channel Thanks
As for me lamb with sprouts is one of the healthiest food you can imagine.
It's definitely healthy. Not sure what she meant by that, other than maybe the butter? Which I do consider also healthy.
The lamb chops looked awesome 👏
If you’re into beautiful historical buildings, great food and coffee, you should jump on a train and head to Ballarat, about an hour from Melbourne! Pack your winter woolies though, it’s cold!
