    Dimash, graduated in classical opera in 2014, graduated in pop jazz in 2018, got his master's degree in composition in 2020, and about to complete his doctoral dissertation. He still trains 3 hrs a day, a very hard-working man.A beautiful face, beautiful voice and a beautiful soul❤pls react to Ave Maria if you want to hear his angelic voice.

    Goosebumps all over my body. It's incredible🥰. Ikanaide means „Don't go“ and was composed in 1989 by the Japanese singer-songwriter and actor Koji Tamaki. Thank you vor this wonderful reaction and I wish you Merry Christmas🎄❤️
    This song is sooo beautiful❤️. And he performed it with so much emotions. You literally can feel his pain😪. His first song in Japanese. He has been invited to perform at the Tokyo Jazz Festival in 2021. But he couldn't go to Japan because of Covid. So he had to sing it from his studio in China.
    If the Japanese reactors are to be believed, Dimash sang in perfect Japanese. Some also claimed that it was better Japanese than many Japanese themselves😅.
    He sang the same song but with different lyrics on the competition show "The Singer" in China in 2017 titled "Autumn Strong". And this song has a sad backstory. This was his first song in Mandarin.
    The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to this show are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. Actually, it was intended that he would only have 1 or 2 appearances. But it came completely different. When he woke up the next morning after his first performance of SOS he was a megastar in China and even found bodyguards outside his hotel room. SOS’ first video had 600 million views when it aired. He was just 22 years old at the time.
    Please react to Olimpico or also Ogni Pietra from his Arnau concert in 2019 next. In this song he sings in Italian. You can find it on Igor Krutoy‘s Channel.
    Igor Krutoy is a famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. If Igor Krutoy is there, the song was also written by him. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship.
    Olimpico is another masterpiece that Igor Krutoy wrote especially for Dimash’s vocal skills (like so many others). It was written for the 2nd European Games 2019 in Minsk, Belarus and also won an award for Best Song of the Year in Russia in this year. The text is therefore very motivating.
    This song and this performance from this Arnau concert is my absolute favourite🥰 I think this version is the best, because his performance is so intense and breathtaking. The light show, the background dancers. Everything. With this song in this version I always get breathlessness. The way he represents himself on stage, the hand movements.
    I think he has incredibly beautiful hands🤭 (and apparently many cameramen think so too, because in many close-ups of his performances only his hands can be seen. Sometimes it seems as if he is conducting himself. That's really fascinating). And the facial expression, the look. Wow, he looks so commanding😱.
    In my opinion, this version of Olimpico is one of the most impressive performances ever. Without subtitles, if you don't know what the song is about, you'd think he was going to war and motivating his army to fight a losing battle 😅! It’s absolutely stunning. And I don't even mean the vocal part, but also his stage presence. The whole package. Oh wow I’m starting to rave again…🤤. Sorry but I can’t help it🥺. I swear it is mind-blowing 🤯

He loves songs based on true stories, as this one is, and he loves to show the emotion of a song too. He is a master at this type of song 😊🙏💞

    This version "Ikanaide" (行かないで) ) is the original, from 1989, composed by Koji Tamaki (famous Japanese singer, born in 1958) with lyrics by Goro Matsui. The version "Autumn Strong" (Late Autumn), sung in Chinese, uses the same song, but has another lyrics (Yaqui Cheung, from 1993) and another theme: It talks about the Japanese actress Yoshiko Yamagushi, very dear to the Chinese, who was deported when they discovered her Japanese origin (his real name was Li Xiang Lan and we're talking about World War II, where Japan was China's enemy) and never returned to China. In the original version, the lyrics are more intimate, sentimental and more recognized worldwide. It means: "Please don't go!". 👉 Dimash sang Ikanaide (live and for the first time in Japanese) on the Tokyo Jazz Festival in 2021(in his studio). Because of the “pandemic”, the annual Tokyo Jazz Festival took place online again. Filmmakers verify that the videos have not been edited and manipulated, so the singer sings live.
    In 2020 Dimash also participated in the famous annual Tokyo Online Festival with 2 songs:
    * S.O.S. - ruclips.net/video/WdKYDoqKLP8/видео.html
    * Samaltau - ruclips.net/video/cEyLyKW-gWY/видео.html
    The original song Ikanaide was composed in 1989 by Koji Tamaki (*1958) singer and songwriter, the lyrics come from one of his lyricists Goro Matsui.
    In the same year, the song was used as the theme song for a Chinese-Japanese television series Farewell, Lixianglan, about the Japanese woman Yoshiko Yamaguchi (*1920 - † 2014) a Chinese-born Japanese actress during World War II. She hid her Japanese heritage under the name Li XIanglan and became famous in China. However, when the war was over and she revealed her identity, she was accused of being a spy. She was deported to Japan and longed for China. Ms. Yamaguchi did not return to China until many years as deputy environment minister in the Japanese parliament. The song is a metaphor as the lyrics speak of how a person should hide what they are feeling.
    Koji Tamaki sent a wonderful message to Dimash, thanking him, and praising him for singing his song in Japanese.
    Vbloggers, they reacted to the original by Koji Tamaki, they are mesmerized and can't stop listening to Koji Tamaki. He wrote many wonderful melodies - you should check it out:
    Koji Tamaki 2021, Ikanaide - ruclips.net/video/OpgnM2MccCQ/видео.html
    Dimash's Japan Fan Club asked the famous Japanese author of lyrics of 'Ikanaide' Goro Matsui about his emotions at Dimash performance. It's one of his favorite songs:
    "… I heard Dimash singing "Ikanaide" by accident. The first thing that impressed me was his crystal clear tone and expressive voice. I heard other Asian artists perform the song many times, but despite their magnificent vocal skills, none seemed to capture the true meaning of the original lyrics. In the chorus of the song, the line "Ah, Ikanaide" is repeated several times. And although these are the same words, each line has a different meaning. And it seems to me that Dimash felt it. "
    In 1993, Jacky Cheung (*1961, singer and actor in Hongkong) adapted the song into Chinese Mandarin, calling it Late Autumn: ruclips.net/video/dtM2EsgHD3M/видео.html
    The Chinese (Autuumn Strong) and Japanese (Ikanaide/ Please, Don’t Go) versions have completely different lyrics and meanings… and of course Dimash sings both very differently:
    - The Chinese version shows the image of leaves dancing in the autumn wind as a metaphor for the passage of time, a farewell and change...sad but inevitable and irrevocable
    - The Japanese version does not want to accept the loss of a loved one, is full of pain, begs, suffers... heartbreaking.
    I'm totally mesmerized by how sensitively Dimash differentiates and conveys to the listener the feelings of sadness and loneliness in the Chinese version and loss and pain in the Japanese version. Even his whispers and his breath are music... it breaks my heart and the tears flow... and at the end everyone suddenly holds their breath, we hear Dimash breathing, then a deep and comforting hum.
    I've never heard anything like that from other singers in my entire life. Only Dimash can do that. This is true mastery.
    * The most famous interpretation In China (first performance at the Singer 2017) was that of Dimash Qudaibergen and it was his first time to sing in Chinese mandarin: Autuumn Strong - ruclips.net/video/Kmi2cVijdMo/видео.html
    This song brought Dimash the 'Best Foreign Singer' award at the Golden Melody Award 2017 (equivalent to the Grammy) in Hong Kong.
    * Great performance (Chinese version) of Dimash from Kiev 11.03.2020, the last concert before Corona paralyzed everything: Autumn Strong - ruclips.net/video/437IEsDIZfE/видео.html
    * Other version by Dimash: In Moscow on March, 2019 - Autumn Strong - ruclips.net/video/-ewR8Boc21I/видео.html

    Дякую, було дуже цікаво.
    Дімаш, як завжди неперевершенний.
    Він починає, як штиль, тихо та ніжно, легкими брижами на водній гладі, потім починає кружляти, все гучніше і наполегливіше, перетворюючись у неймовірне Торнадо. А потім зникае так само неочикуванно, як і з'явився. Останніми акордами залишає нас у неймовірних роздумах, змушуючи раз за разом перемислювати все, що щойно почули, побачили, сприйняли сердцем та пережили всіма фібрами душі.
    Дімаш талановитий, цілеспрямованний, сумирний то дуже гарний юнак.❤

    isn't violin a soprano? haha. I think Dimash is a typical baritone when he talks in chest voice and doesn't add any hint of head voice to purposely raise the pitch or brighten the tone. When he sings, he's also a soprano for sure.
