Undertale Yellow- Sparing Starlo in the Neutral Route

The reason my level is 1 is because instead of killing a monster and playing through the feisty section, I changed the "[Route]" value in the .sav from 00="2.000000"to 00="1.000000" to save some time. Apparently modifying your LV or EXP doesn't change the route you are on.

This probably sounds like I'm overthinking it, but I think that shows a lot of character when you visualize it. It's pretty non-existent that a pixel rpg character DOESN'T walk up to you and give you the item. So that was kinda neat.

Ironically enough, changing your lv nor exp in the save data file doesn't change the route you are on.

Maybe if you kill monsters in ruins she still thinks you are pure or maybe not
I think she can read LV somehow if she can see we killed someone even in ruins without even she knowing our existence

I think that attacking monsters multiple times without killing them already locks you in a neutral route, even if you don't actually kill them

​@@phantomgamer3898Martlet mentions that Clover mediated problems in the pacifist route. If you dont kill anybody then he aint really solvin any problems by shootin dudes until they run away. Like he didnt do anything bad per say but a pacifist he is not

Honestly i'm just happy they made neutral a real run in this game unlike undertale, choosing who lives and dies is what i thought the first game was about but i was clearly wrong, this is what i wanted though, my first run of undertale yellow was neutral and i'm really happy it was

(I also dislike seeing characters get misgendered, but in this case using she/her, they/them or he/him for Clover is okay either way)

Ceroba not accompanying you on the Steamworks fucking sucks. I totally get why should we abandon everything else because of Star and how she knows your LV but damn if it isn’t one of the reasons why I sometimes find this route more depressing than genocide.

forthe horseshoe attack, just go to the bottom left as soon as it starts. the hibox doesn't go that far. It took me until like my fifth attempt to realize you were supposed to be trapped under the gap.
