Nowadays, when you don't have to strain yourself so much physically just to have a meal, you can have too much luxury of convenience to abuse the intake of basic foods in excess. Everybody knows now that too much rice (carbohydrates), sugar (empty carb) & salt is bad for your health - though the food is not poison. Wisdom comes with age, don't prejudge a person & look at things from a narrow perspective - maybe then, you can have a fraction of his wealth & respect.
