Yes, Omar, you are right. It got major play from the Detroit market. This was the Groove. They played this at all the House party's up in East Lansing at MSU and in the downtown Detroit clubs, as well as it got nice Radio play as well from DRQ, JLB, and GPR.

As a DJ , having some great beats to work with and then to have a great clear vocalist like Sybil to roll out over the club just used to Rock the Box! In a club, at high volume, real strong vocals like hers, are massively more effective than auto-tuned generic alternatives.
Just sayin.

Going from current music to pre autotune music is such a breath of fresh air.. if you listen to it side by side it's amazing how much more affecting it was that way

yes - I was a London DJ and this was my DJ fav at one of the club nites I did while at the Crown and Sceptre pub - hug streatham.
Back then as a singer you had to have TALENT since Autotune wasn’t really utilized as it is today. Sybil had that with her silky voice.
