She drop her first album with destiny child at 15 that’s why she left home at a young ages. Her daddy was grinding because he was the group manager so he had to work to help make her dream come true. At the beginning of the song she mentioned under paid because she was when she was 15 but when she repeated those lyrics she took out under paid reference because she is no longer under paid but now she has other problems like being away from her kids and being overwhelmed because so many people depend on her at this stage in her career. She also change the lyrics at the end about her dad because her dad is no longer her manager because he cheated on her mom “so she says daddy lying mama crying”. He also did shady things when he was her manager that she didn’t like. She explained this all in a documentary she released about 10 years ago.
This was awesome, her voice is beautiful! The lyrics were so powerful and moving.💜 I really enjoyed your reaction, you always break the song down and explain and point out things I would never notice.☺️💜
@@AdamStraughan It doesn’t sound like “Fast Car” but it’s kind of sounds like a folk song of the 60s. Going away to find a better life. Maybe I just love Folk Music. 😊
This album and its reception is a master class in EMPRESS Level artistry, musical and social and political and personal. Awestruck to hear it and be changed by it!
With my AirPods in, the song/music is only coming in one ear, the left, but your voice and background noise is coming in through the right one. But enjoyed the reaction despite the audio problems.
Yea only one of my AirPod (left side) was playing. But when l went back to Apple Music both were playing equally. So something with audio for sure. Great Reaction 🔥
For us listening with earplugs and headphones. The music and your mic being on separate sides instead of blended is not a comfortable listening experience.
Yes this is my favorite one. It's simple but yet big and she sings it sweet but then she soars over the music. Amazing I love Beyonce

Beyoncé is a genius in music!👍👍
The more I hear this song I love it more and more! It makes you listen to the lyrics. It pulls you in…
SAVING country music from its death by "whites only" definition
I believe people are drawn to this song because it touches the soul. There is a story of her life that touches a person's own story.
It’s in the style of “ Fast Cars” by Tracy Chapman. Two geniuses!
I don’t hear Fast Car in this, but I do love that song!

I love how she tells a "story" through fabulous vocals. ❤❤❤

I agree, I think this is her best song ever and this will be timeless
She is wonderful

Interesting, I’ll look into that. And thanks!
This is by far the best song on the album.

Yeah, something is going on with the audio
@@danielevans2980 that’s so strange, I just played it back and it worked for me. I wonder if it’s a by country block

Thank you, I’m aware now and going forward have changed that up! Thanks for letting me know though
