Out of curiosity, how were you able to book the cruise? Been looking everywhere for their tickets for this next year after watching the stunning views you got!!
Hi! This took a little bit of luck. We found the cruise on the Sydney Heritage Fleet website sometime over the summer and signed up for the mailing list to be notified when tickets went on sale. As soon as we received the email that tickets were available to the public, we purchased ours. We would suggest checking the SHF website regularly or registering for their regular mailing list to get notified there.
@@DiversifiedDiversions Thank you!! My fiancé and I are trying to decide which cruise to try and book for NYE now. With ~200 people on board, did you find it hard to get a good spot near the edge to watch the show? And final question for me is if drinks and hors d'eouvres were included and served throughout the night? Thanks for letting me pester you!!
It's no bother at all! The ship is quite large and we never had a problem getting to the side of the ship to see anything. It did not feel crowded at all! As for food and drink, we were never hungry or thirsty. The bar was plentiful and even late into the night the crew brought out additional snacks like ice cream and hot dogs to keep everyone well fed as we approached midnight. Everything just felt well thought out!
Thanks for the review, and answering Nick's questions which are the same things I wanted to know. I'll be booking as soon as tonight, and definitely within the next few weeks. BTW, SHF early bird booking price is in effect till the end of August.
@@omfgitsrass So adding a link appears to be the reason my previous replies did not go through. Send them an email saying you want to book. You can also scroll down on their home page to you see the link to the NYE cruise. They are really good at responding. Could be 12-24 hours depending on where you live due to time difference.
Great channel. Editing so fresh, so clean.
Thank you! Glad you are enjoying the videos!

Hello, which website did you use to book? I checked their website today and was only able to sign up for a newsletter.
@@omfgitsrass test. My replies are not going through. Maybe because I'm including a link?

@@omfgitsrass great. I’m booked too.
What ship is that ? Any name? How to book?
This was the Tall Ship James Craig. There is a link in the video description to the organization that runs the ship and NYE bookings!
