Her family panicked and it was during COVID and they lived out in the country so the paramedics took forever. She had been without oxygen too long and was brain dead once she got to the hospital. There plenty of places that offer Free CPR classes to anyone wishing to learn, I was trained by my local sheriff's office as a Detention Officer, at church I was called to another classroom during the Sunday service because they knew I had the training. A 6 year old girl had choked on a nickel, I directed 911 to be called, more like Ordered it, then explained quickly what I was going to do to the young girl and performed the Heimlich maneuver and she swallowed the nickel, but she was breathing very well and was alert the entire time. I went into a room crying as the children's pastor prayed with me. She is alive and well today thank God!! My training kicked right in with no thought of what to do next!!!
