amazing job again and again! you remind me of my brother whos been cutting hair for over 23 yrs. communication is key and getting the client to understand what works and or is best for their shape and specific kind of hair. sometimes we want a certain cut or style and it just isn't possible with certain hair. so it's tough to tell client no that won't work on you. they think you just can't do the cut but it isn't that. the hair needs to be longer or shorter to achieve that style. you're great at getting comfortable with the person 1st and gaining trust and being able to convince them to show you, allow you to do what you know is right for us and not we think is right for us. that's a true artist 💪 God luck n God bless.

Powerful Haircut! I used to get my haircut in Liverpool by Dan many years ago now. Could tell how far ahead of all the others he was then, and only getting further by the looks in these videos. Top guy, top barber!

Low maintenance? You need to get this haircut every week for it to look presentable. Overgrown looks really bad. Too bad barbers in my area charge $25 per cut (they are really good tho), don't wanna spend $100 per month.
@@John-mj1kk Fair point. I meant low maintenance in the sense that you don't need to spend too long washing, styling and blow drying your hair on a daily basis. Luckily, my barber (Headcase Barbers in the UK) does a deal where for £90, you get unlimited haircuts for 3 months. For £200, its unlimited for a year, so works for me.

this haircut was nice as hell. hell of a barber. Its exactly how i get mine cut, my barber is precise and very skilled as well. Only person that i let cut my hair but I'd come have a seat and let you do my hair too. Nice job!

My hairdresser has actually cut and styled my hair the way I asked once! I went to other hairdressers and they ignored what I said, so I stick with my original hairdresser, hoping that she might accidentally do my hair like I asked.
I love to cut my own hair because I dont trust anyone! And this is the first time that I see a real Hair Stylist! Very precise and clean that make me want to go for a cut but only from you man!

What kind of guard length would this be over the top? How I wear mine is similar but I comb it over using a little bit of wax rather than just wearing it flat. When I have researched, it says to do that kind of thing, a number 4 to a number 8 is the right kind of length to be able to achieve the comb over type look. Is this correct? I feel like a 4 wouldn't leave enough length, so maybe like a 6 or a 7 would work?

@@Shooooooop warm water and soap and should come off well! The long lasting hold came with that one minor drawback unfortunately. We went back and forth in testing to overcome. We felt in the end that the hold and overall performance was more important, and our testers agreed. Still looking at ways to counter that though
wash your hands with dishsoap,its not damagable to your hands and comes right off

I need a barber like this man not afraid to use scissors here in America it’s pretty rare they take time to do all that witch scissors and your consultation is really considerate and insightful because as a customer I do know what I want but at the same time I kinda don’t or I’m just tired of the same cut so this communication would definitely help out
The way the barber holds the scissors and swings it like a butterfly knife is insane skilled but would give me anxiety if i was sitting in the chair would think my eyes about to get stabbed lol

Haha I have the same cut, but I live in NYC. Its funny because I used to rock the combover look up until about 1 year ago. I feel like the combover with fade could be rocked anytime, but it may be a little played out since guys started doing the artificial hard part on the side and maybe even sometimes having it extended all the way to the back of the head which I dont like. 🤔
But overall the main thing is to rock what you're feeling at the moment or like. 🙋♂️

@@HappeningCentre Good question. 🤔 In my case I didn't have the longest hair, but having longer hair takes a lot more effort to maintain depending of course on the hair style. I had the combover so I had to constantly buy pomades or hair products in order to style my hair, but now I just shower, dry it a bit, apply a small amount of product and lastly texture it with my hands and im done. 😁

@@whbragg He said in the video its the equivalent to a number 8 which you could do to save time which is just above finger level on the head although with a short textured crop if you point cut the top you create that textured messy style hope that helps you mate

Excellent barber. I did a diploma nvq level 3 in barbering I didn’t know to much but I’m pretty sure I was Conned. And didn’t really learn to much on the course, it was a funded course. It was run Shockingly I would love to become a barber but with what I learned on the course I would struggle with in a shop, I’m 33, it might be too late, I learned more from you tube than I did my 4 month course. But yea pretty sure you have to do a level 2 then level 3 💈🙄✌🏻💈
