buddy would you break this down a little bit? i cant find any tabs for what youre playing and im finding it hard to understand even really slow speed on here, im a total beginner, 40 hours or so on the bass, and very basic understanding of music theory so if this question is unclear its because i dont know how to ask it. youre playing two notes moving up and down the neck but what are the notes? its 2 notes so it isnt a chord right? are you playing some sort of interval? i thought it was an octave at first but its not. thank you.
That's right, this is intervals because they are two tons..down A up F- 6th, down C up C- 8ve, down E up C- 6th, dpwn G up G-8ve, down A up A-8ve, down F sharp up D-6th, down E up E-8ve...this is intro, just practice slowly ;)
I have listened to this quite a few times on headphones and he is clearly playing octaves. On the verses he plays the bottom two strings (3/5, 4/6, 6/8 ?) and during the chorus it's a E>D and A>G (two strings apart, two frets up = octave) and reaches above 12th and 15th fret so it's quite brighter and higher on the scale. There are various ways of playing an octave like open E string and then second fret of D string. Not managed to figure out what notes he's actually played as the bass on the track stands out more and having trouble matching it when i'm playing. You've done a really good cover of this Marko (clapping hands!).
