    Thank you for doing this video. I was wondering what a hot day would use. But what amazes me how many different names they can slap on the same cooler made in the same Chinese factory with the identical parts.

      Most of theee coolers are the same, just different name

    👍great video. I’m doing some tests at the moment with a Alpicool TW45 fridge & Freezer. Had it running both compartments for 5 days using a homemade solar generator with 100w panel. Also made a cover to help keep it cool. Next test was going to be using it with a Ecoflow 500 but you’ve covered that pretty well.

    What I liked about your review was that you ran it in such warm (probably humid) weather so this is almost a worst case scenario.

      Thank you for the comment, and yes, it was a worst case result. I have found with another video I did with Solar attached to the battery, this could last weeks

      @@sherburnoutdoors I live in this "worst case scenario" (aka the tropics :D), that's our average day right there, so the test was spot on. I'm actually impressed with the numbers you've got considering it's only a 500Wh battery and the fridge is rated at like 45-60W. Do you happen to remember what the average watt consumption was for both fridge and freezer modes?

    I bought the WattFun 300W and Alpicool c15. Good video.

    I have a T50. If you run it as a freezer it eats battery fast. IMO they need more insulation for that. Runs fine at 37 degrees though.

    Do you think adding a ice pack inside would help it go a little longer? I have this ordered and can’t wait for it to arrive.

    • @sherburnoutdoors
      @sherburnoutdoors  2 года назад

      It might, but would take up valuable space, the solar panel I think would add more value

      I heard using the DC cord saves 10% power over the AC cord. Also using a blanket on top helps!

    If you fill the fridge it will run longer. I fill any space with water bottles or freezer packs.

    Hi, was it run in "H" mode since you had the 12v plugged in? Its a higher efficiency setting

    I’m getting a wattfun 300w. Any predictions about how long that will last? Do you think I could keep a fridge (same as yours) going for a camping weekend if I have a 100w solar panel charging it going all day?

    • @sesa2984
      @sesa2984 6 месяцев назад

      Thats pretty amazing considering you had no recharging set up…I’m really really hoping I can get the 300 to keep it going with a solar panel attached as well. Fingers crossed.

    Hi...I have a question for you...is your test done with 12v or 220v power? I have an alpicool k25 and a powerstation blitzwolf bw-pg1...to power the fridge what do you recommend, 12v or 220v? I only need from morning to evening... let's say that 10-12 hours would be enough....

    • @sherburnoutdoors
      @sherburnoutdoors  2 года назад

      Test was with the 12V connections

    • @yariturchini

      Ok... but do you recommend 12v or 220v?

    • @rjbfreelander2
      @rjbfreelander2 2 года назад +3

      @@yariturchini DC 12v is more efficient as the power station will not need to run the inverter.
