You are amazing! Seriously. I would have love to have had you as a professor. You have a natural talent for organizing and explaining information in a fun, memorable, and passionate way!
Oh Hannah! Thank you for your support and sweet words. It means so much to me- more than you'll ever know. The journey and process of sharing more of myself online can feel vulnerable, but I am able to continue doing this work because of people like you who encourage and cheer me on. So thank you for taking a moment to leave a comment. ❤️❤️❤️
Anytime. I totally understand that feeling, but you do have a gift. Your videos remind me of my passionate professors. Two for Kinese, and one for acute care. Their passion and professionalism was like a spark that the students wanted to emulate! :D
Such a tremendous help, as always! Another association tip: for 12 months I think of a rotary clock for emergence of rotary chewing. Thank you for taking the time to help in so many ways. Your effort is very much appreciated.
Bridgett, that's an excellent association!! I love it! Thank you for sharing that! Makes me want to do a redo of the video just to incorporate that tidbit :) Thank you for leaving your comment and your helpful tip, Bridgett. It is much appreciated! ❤️
My board is exam is less than 6 days away and I began studying using OT Miri even while in OT school and I have to say as my 6-week study schedule is coming to an end I want to thank you so much Miri for making me feel more confident each and every day!
Thank you for sharing your journey with me, Nicole! I'm really happy to hear that my resources helped you feel more confident. Please keep me posted and stay in touch!
The best I wouldn't know how to understand this without your wonderful explanation ? God has truly blessed you with the knowledge to help other succeed in the OT profession !! thanks so much !
Thank you for these encouraging and empowering words. For as long as I've served God, I've asked him to use me as a vessel. This channel and community are both an answered prayer and a ministry for me. Thank you for being here and walking this journey with me.
Miri!!!! You are the cutest!!! I absolutely love your cute and funny personality and you have helped me SO much with my NBCOT prep. I have the worst memory and your tricks are very helpful. Thank you so much for being you!!
Oh that is music to my ears, Debra! Thank you for sharing this journey with me and for embracing my quirky personality! I'm grateful for our connection and hope we can one day meet in person!
Miri, thank you so much for your videos! They have been helping me study for the NBCOT exam, especially when I am having trouble reading or taking practice questions.
You're very welcome, Danielle! Isn't it nice to just listen and watch when you're tired from studying and reading? It's what I wanted most when I was preparing for the board and it gives me great joy to be able to share my experiences and insights I learned along the way with my future colleagues and friends : )
LOL thank you so much for saying that you aren't a peds person. As a male with no aptitude for this area of OT, i often feel drained by having to learn so much that i will never use in my practice. I know many rehab-bound students who feel as I do but we have no choice in the matter. P.S. I love that your OT peds skills are now being put to good use with your little one :)
Thank you so much for the work you do to help us succeed! I immediately thought of the number 9 on a clock when thinking about tongue lateralization - it is directly "lateral" to the hands of the clock!
Thank you for fitting us in before your meeting Miri, we are eating this up ! (wink) PS Love the supplemental images and bouncing letters in this one. you are the best. keep on rockin
Heather Rudolph Ha! I love your comment! Put a big grin on my face :) I'm happy you enjoyed this video. I've been trying different things and incorporating more photos to keep the longer videos more engaging and visually relevant. Your feedback is informing and helps me to better understand and deliver the content you need and want. So thank you for taking the time to leave your comment and feedback!
LOOOL the music and scrolling of the letters in blueberries caught me off guard 🤣 that was pretty funny. Even more hilarious though was that you said they were favorite food then followed immediately by the most disgusted reaction hahahaha. Most people would cut this out but I love how you just keep it in... Amazing. Thanks for all the content Miri, wish me luck on the NBCOT this week 🤞💪🙏
@@MiriLee Hi Miri! Thanks for checking in :) I'm doing well! I actually had to retake my exam - so I just finished it yesterday. I'll find out my score this Friday 😬I definitely didn't give myself enough study time on my first attempt. This one felt a lot better. Thanks again for everything - don't stop being you!
I hope you're feeling better since last week and that each new days brings you greater optimism, hope and courage! I love connecting with you and hearing your journey as it unfolds- please continue to do so and I will be eagerly awaiting the good news, which I know will come in your perfect time!
hehehe, can you imagine them watching this video one day? And to think that I now have a little baby boy of my own!! In the words of Forrest Gump, "Life is like box of chocolates- you never know what you're gonna get!"
Hi Jay! I'm happy to hear you're enjoying my videos. I've received this topic as a request several times and it's definitely on my list of to-dos- I hope to get to it soon!
Yes it feels like a lifetime ago! I never imagined that I would be working in in pediatrics, let alone have a baby of my own. But I can't imagine my life without Noah now. He is my everything. ❤

That’s an old video. Now you must be excited about pediatric as you have your own baby. ;)
Yes it feels like a lifetime ago! I never imagined that I would be working in in pediatrics, let alone have a baby of my own. But I can't imagine my life without Noah now. He is my everything. ❤
For 12 months, I like to picture a child at his/her first birthday party eating their personal sized cake and being very MESSY!
Yes! That's a great visual and I can't wait to see Noah eating his first birthday cake!!

I laughed when you ate the sour blue berry 😅😅
Hehehe yes, didn't expect it to be so sour!
