case in point about Rolf, Season 4 premier "An Ed in the Bush", Eddy decided to fck with him and the Urban Ranger when they went camping, Jimmy is hanging by his retainer on a tree branch, Rolf orders Johnny 2x4 to go get him down while Rolf deals with the Eds. We don't see what he does to them but the episode ends with the 3 Eds cowering in Ed's basement closet and being yelled at by Sarah saying its been 3 days. Rolf, buddy, WTF DID YOU DO TO THEM
Strongest character in Ed Edd and Eddy is Lee Kanker. She leads the sisters and the sisters are some of the biggest threats to the cul-de-sac. She’s rarely ever lost a fight and that usually due to some mishap, but the amount of dominance she presents to not only the boys, but to the entire community.
So the sport in My Little Pony you were talking about a roughly the 40 minute mark is referred to as Buckball. Which to be honest would be a fairly interesting sports video game if the MLP devs wanted to go that route. Also the funny thing is that this video isn't even the only time you've talked about My Little Pony, albeit only briefly. There was a time during the Blazing Sword LP where you pointed out that what a Falcoknight is riding is actually an Alicorn, a horse with a horn AND wings. I think that episode was the one where you recruited Farina. You know, the Pegasus knight that Comic was so hilariously salty about when she got a crit?
Talking about games with permadeath with a chance to save your units, there's a game I've been playing recently called Wartales. It's a dark low-fantasy open world turn based tactical game about being a band of mercenaries in a wartorn continent. If one of your human units (you can also tame animals to use them in battle) hits zero HP, they go into a dying state. If they take any additional damage, they die, but a unit with the first aid skill can get them out of that state. Dying units can move, but can't do anything else. If they have any DoT ailments, moving them will kill them, because they take effect after a unit's turn, each round is split between the two sides of the battle and you choose which unit acts during your turns while enemy turns are pre-determined.
Huh; that discussion about parents in cartoons being non-entities - just limbs we see, maybe legs, etc. - brings “Peanuts” to mind in which you can hear/see the parents but it’s garbled text… Just nothing there, to emphasise how they’re not really a part of the story/the children’s narrative conflicts.
I’ve said this before but it’s not just the authors who flanderize characters, the fans are guilty of this as well.
Case in point: Adachi (Persona 4) and cabbages.
This joke happens once but the fandom has beaten it to death at least thrice.
Heck it has even extended to a voice actor, in Persona 5 Goro Akechi who’s voiced by Robbie Daymond in the English dub, slips up by saying ‘pancakes’.
Now whenever a character is voiced by Robbie Daymond, the first joke is always: ‘This character must hate pancakes’
This is so f’n annoying!
See also: in Danganronpa 2, there is one frame where the main character Hajime Hinata is holding a cup of orange juice. So of course the fandom permanently associates Hajime with orange juice.
I remember wtching this video where they ranked all the Ed Edd 'n Eddy characters based on how powerf ul they were, the top 6 were:
1. Lee
2. May
3. Sarah
4. Rolf
5. Marie
6. Ed
The thing about Sarah is that while she can be all bark and can counter Ed, she can back up said bark, she did put up a fight against the Kankers during the movie. And yeah, the Kankers are pretty busted

Only when the game specifies that unit dying is a game over, will it be a game over. Otherwise, it's only Welkin.
You can have Alicia rush the enemy camp, get shot, and run over by a tank, and she'll just "Retreat" for the mission, and be perfectly fine for redeployment next mission. Characters with the Leader Star, unless the objectives specify it, cannot permanently die.
In Valkyria Chronicles 4, you can actually give the side characters leader stars, and I think that actually gives them the same immortality. But I wouldn't know, I try not to let my characters die.
There's also one mission in that game where an unseen enemy general is stated to be a war criminal, and one of his fielded sniper aces is under orders to shoot the medic if she's used, so you can't save units that go down the usual way. You have to take out that sniper, or use Engineer ragnaid to revive a fallen ally, because you can't evacuate anymore.

Angry Ed was able to deal with the cankers but like y’all said Rolf would win that one.
