First, thanks for weld connection video. But 2 things need to be shown clearly to us, firstly I can’t mesh it. Secondly I can’t find crack-assign seam surface( no highlight)
@@AbaqusTutorial Thanks for your reply! if that's the case, then how would you model a complex shape full of scallop welds and stitch welds, where problem is not as easy as just one surface? if there anyway to define a tie constraint and get accurate results?
Congrats, very nice video. But I don't understand, when you create fillet weld like chamfer in part module fillet weld is all in one with L steel profile. After, when you click assembly module fillet weld is divided from L profile. How did you do it? Did you make any partitions? Thanks in advance!
Very nice video. But don't understand, what you have clicked, so you can access surface of 1st level part to define seam. Your guidance would be highly appreciated.
the very same thing happened to me today. When I try to select the entities to be modeled as seams, I can't find the surface by clicking on it. Help would be highly appreciated

I need to do simulation for induction brazing of 2 metals and a filler between them.
Is it possible
Please help me
Can you define separate weld and create constraint between each face of the weld and steel? rather than combining the whole parts into one?
Yes, you can do it. But the problem is when you define constraint between two parts usually tie, in interconnection area you cant get accurate result.

@@adelbadiee358 If you need to analysis the welded area and evaluate stresses and compare to criteria , just makes it simple.
i cant do the "seamless" steap coz i cant select that surface, how about that? thanks in advance
you can define this weld without merge the two elements , by define separate weld part then tie the surfaces together. thanks....

Davide yes it is partitioned

crack- assign seam
But I could not find the surface of angle bar after merge/chamfer

Mars Carl me too
@@AbaqusTutorial the same problem here
Somebody can explain to me . After result come out. How do you know is it pass or fail?
