I bought this based on your review (among others) and the $20 shootout. Yep, it does not disappoint. The review is very accurate. I already have the BL03 for reference. That one is a vocal monster if you can get the right fit (difficult to achieve), so I didn't expect this to rival the BL03 on vocals. But what I did get is better highs and punchy mid-bass. Great for faster music where the slam of drums and the shimmer of cymbals conveys more energy. Also didn't need to fiddle with the fit and eartips; the stock tips and cable were fine out of the box, though an eartip upgrade has a noticeable improvement in the sound. On the downside, there are times when the mid-bass drowns the vocals. The first hour I used this, the bass was loose and all over the place; but it settled down after a while. As mentioned in zpolt's review, the mids can sometimes feel like it needs more body. It's mostly because I have a BL03 for comparison. But it's good enough to still be enjoyable. Within my tracklist this affects only a few songs. It's really fun on most of the music I listen to. Overall I like this better than the VK4.
man i was waiting for someone like you i have to buy one and its going to be my first. for bass(imp) , fun , edms ,pops ,kpops and sometimes vocal based songs. what do u recommend ks1 or blon as stock may consider mods down the line.
@@devanshanil2468 Based on those types of music I would recommend the KS1 as a first IEM. You will enjoy BL03 too if you got the right fit, its just that its more common to have fit issues with it. It took me a while to enjoy it after reading about other people's experiences. The nozzle is short; some people use keyboard o-rings in the nozzle just to extend the eartips. I was able to get a good seal using Spinfit CP100 and CP145 eartips. The stock cable also tends to pull the IEM out of my ears so I replaced it with a better cable. My KS1 also benefits from an eartip and cable upgrade, since I have 4 IEMs now. These IEMs deserve better accessories. In terms of sound signature, the KS1 is more aggressive, BL03 is more relaxed. KS1 has more slam or kick in the drums. BL03 is softer and goes lower in the sub-bass. Depends on what type of bass you like, KS1 is faster but BL03 goes lower. Personally I like the sound of acoustic drums more than electronic bass, so I enjoy KS1 more with faster music. KS1 also has more extended and energetic treble so it adds up to more fun. BL03 has perfect vocals though. Its my reference for how natural the voice should sound. I switch to BL03 when listening to more relaxed music. They just operate at a different pace; I think they complement each other.
@@devanshanil2468 Btw, I just wanted to add that when I switch to BL03 to listen to jazz vocals, then I play faster tracks on BL03, there is a noticeable decrease in excitement and fun compared to KS1. It takes a while to adjust. Same goes the other way around. After I'm used to the BL03's slower attack and lower sensitivity, there is an initial shock in loudness when I switch to KS1. I also think that matching with the DAC's signature has an overall effect in the sound. I mostly use the Quad DAC's on my LG V50, and occassionally use a Tempotec HD Pro on my laptop. Both are warm-ish and mild on the treble so they match well w/ KS1's dynamic sound.

compared to my zsn pro x im loving my cca csn at the moment...it's just too good enough for me...(Hip-hop to Death Metal kind of music) with EQ of course,coz im only using a mid range phone...

This is more V than the db3 so this is more fun, db3 will also have more micro detail. Depends on the sig that you like. DB3 for me can still pass as a mixing pair, but the ks1 is just more of a fun casual listening pair.
Quite diff tuning for me. This is also a pure dynamic driver. If you want a more fun tuning, bigger bass, go for ks1. More neutral to bright, more micro detail, cleaner sound go dt6. If its me, i kinda like the ks1 for its tuning.
Yes, idk what you mean by stereo sounds but, all iems should be stereo. If you mean a wide soundstage, it wouldn't sound the same compared to the headphone
