My mates of the Circleboof Team have been traveling to Chile with their kayaks. This is one of a 4 part documentary i have edited for them.
We were talking before they went on the trip, what footage would be awesome to have in order to really form a story out of what they have been experiencing. Even though, my awesomely made PDF was not read by most, they still managed to get a ton of footage on their trip, showcasing the crazy experience.
At the start of 2020, everyone was back in Hamburg and i was given the 1000Gb of video material. I think that was 70 hours that i had to go through.
Unfortunately the dates weren’t set properly on the GoPros and i messed up sorting them to start with in Premiere, which made the whole process of finding the Diamonds a lot harder. On top of that, we had to rearrange most of the clips in the timeline which was a pain as well. Months later and too many hours spent on the project, the 4 parts of the Chile Trip are finally done. Have in mind, that i didn’t want to put so much effort in the long version, so that i can spend more hours on the short film.
So that was a little story about how crazy it was to edit all that and i hope you enjoy this piece of crazy artventure.
Stay tuned and subscribe :)

i am thinking of going to chile on december, i would like to go down futa and other rivers in pucon, do you have any tips or any guide of rivers and places to refer me?
You don't find alot of good homemade mini series on you tube....do you need a kayaking license. It feels like you need something.. Because it seems like you do safty training with how good they respond to mistakes
Thanks mate!
You don't need a license but it would be stupid to kayak those rivers with not enough experience. Most rivers are class 5 out of 6 and 6 means deadly even with experience.
So yeah, they know how to safe each other and always check where they're going but there are still so many things that can go wrong.
@@ARTVENTUREFILMS that's why you need people you can trust.. Very helpful info.. Still wanna try it.
@@enriqueleft1785 definitely! go for it :D
