0:13 epic fabe moment
Oh isn't that marvellous driving from the Citroen driver....
What an absolute plank! I guess he/she missed the flashing lights and the alarms! It's scary to think there's idiots like this driving around. I'd suggest a sight and hearing test! They obviously can't see or hear very well.
Im liking your style ,,,, brilliant capture ,,,
Imagine if this was an automatic crossing uncontrolled! They would surely learn the hard way
Amazing how far ahead of the train the gates lowered.
Not really
The legal minimum is 27 seconds prior to the train getting to the crossing, however this can only be done with half barrier or open crossings (no barriers) to allow traffic to clear the crossing.
All full barrier crossings must be signalled, which means the crossing must be lowered before the train reaches the warning signal, which can be more than a mile away.
So next time you're waiting at a crossing, the only reason you have to wait so long is because apparently red flashing lights and warning sirens aren't good enough to get people to stop.
my ears are still ringing lol
We can tell that the Citroen driver passed his test!
Not :P
lol
lmao
I fucking love it when you shout Hangman
Oh my, I just realized i have watched your videos for years, but i stopped about a year ago 😂😂
That Citroën driver would be right at home in New Jersey!
As Jeremy Clarkson would say - BAD CITROEN DRIVER
Lol there’s a car in the way and the people are like I WANNA GET TROUGHHHH THANKS DRIVER WHO CANT DRIVE!
what are hangmans for
0:47 Did network rail just misuse? if they are doing work USE THE FOOTBRIDGE
nah
0:13 HANGMAN!
does that alarm not get annoying ? and didnt the car driver realize he caused the gates to idk hang
Well.... shows how smart humans are.
0 13 HANGMAN!
MUHHHH HANGMAAAN
Did the Citroën driver get his license from a cereal box..
Why didn't car not go straight across instead of reversing they were already half way across
Car in front?
Probably taken when the road was all dug up with temporary lights, barriers etc. As shown here, ruclips.net/video/UMLo8cyzGLA/видео.html you can just see part of the barriers on the right of the barriers. The new lifts / steps up have already been rebuilt again!
There are traffic lights a little way down the road and traffic sometimes backs up to the level crossing.
Pleasexplain. Were there vehicles to the left (out of camera view) and the Citreon would get trapped on the crossing if the driver proceeded? When the Citreon firstopped, why did the gate not completely descend? The system somehow detected the vehicle? Thank you.
Robert Gift there must have been cars to his left as the driver couldn't clear the crossing. The gates are controlled by a signalman who would have seen the car obstructing the crossing so he would have taken his finger off the close button until the car was clear.
There are different lowering control methods at different locations. Most have a STOP button, however in some higher risk areas the lower button needs to be continuously pressed.
That's what happens when driving under the influence of stupidity, there's not enough courts in the land to deal with them all.
i can hear a faulty alarm in the background lol
HANGMAN!!!
HANGMAN!!
Crossed hatched area's and box junctions are easy to enough to navigate, they just take a little thought and forward planning.,
Unfortunately, most car drivers don't have these two prerequisites so they invariably fuck up!

What does hangman mean?
You can't see?
the word "hangman" comes from a much darker meaning, but in this instance when a level crossing gets misused sometimes this stops the barriers from descending, hence the HANGMAN!! as the barriers are just hanging there.
If it wasn't for that knob jumping behind the Citroen as they tried to reverse out of harm's way the first time, they would have got it in one... Driver had to slam the brakes to avoid knocking them down, and then totally lost track of how far they were from the car behind and now got paranoid about other pedestrians running wildly about at random...
Or perhaps don't enter the confines of a level crossing unless your exit is clear?
That is just shocking behaviour! What are people like!
hello sir, I am one of your GCR people.
Uhhh... what is the crash
idiot driver gets stuck on the crossing, so he stupidly decides to reverse badly and hit the car behind him.
hows that hangman ? or how do the barriers sense a car under it
Evie Louise in the UK they have what are referred to as controlled and tic tack crossings which are monitored (controlled by cctv, and tic tac by a large tic tac shaped capsule of sensors) and they stop the train if it gets too close before the intersection is clear as well as keeping the gates up to make sure anyone still in the intersection doesn’t panic because they gates came down around them trapping their car, or hitting and scratching the car making the driver freak out
Worst one I've seen yet, i can't hear the impact though
Citroen powerful idiot minds
Citroen driver dumb but guy in car behind they reversed into all dumb, why stop so close
