I love your videos! One thing I’ve figured out is if you just have the one sunflower on your canvas and then hit “make it” you can adjust the “project copies” (top left corner of the screen) on your make it screen and adjust up to 10 if that’s how many you want. Keeps from having to hit duplicate 10 times 😊
That was so helpful! Having bleed on makes sense. It looks the best without the white outline. Love your videos! Would love to see a full sanding video.. with your techniques for a smooth cup 😍💕
I’ve been hearing about Quick Coat lately - thinking I might have to try it. I had some vinyl letters lift last week and it seems this might help. Good tip.
Thank you for being classy and professional in your videos. I really dislike tutorials when they are wearing a low cut tank top. I find it distracting and unnecessary. You are a breath of fresh air and I enjoy watching your videos and refer to often for help. May you always bring the best tutorials on youtube!
Great work as always 💕 but what is your most favorite machine that u primarily use for your crafts....cricut explore, explore air?? Which one is BETTER lol
thanks! you don't need to connect your printer to your cricut. your cricut software will tell your printer print the image, then you'll place that printed sheet of images on a cutting mat and run it through the cricut. so that's basically what this whole tutorial is about
Hi lovely lady 🥰 thanks so much for your simple and professional tutorials! Can I ask, I notice you like to sand your cup after epoxy to smooth it out for decals and final coat of epoxy, but I haven’t yet seen a video on how you tidy up the inside top edge of your cup? How do you avoid mess on the inside rim, and when you get mess, how do you fix?
great video, i'm looking to use printable vinyl on a motorcycle helmet, i know I will most likely need to seal the vinyl so that if it gets wet the colors won't run, do you have any recommendations
Hello! I m new at this. I want to do the print and cut with printable vinyl. Am I able to use my Epson inkjet printer? It is not a sublimation printer and it has not been converted into one. Thank you for any help and advice given 🙂
you don't have any of the products you used except for the vinyl, which quick coat did you use and where can it be purchased, other than that your video was good
My products are linked in the description box. Also, I did mention the name of the quick coat sealer from counter culture..which you can buy from counter culture 😊
Great tutorial! I enjoyed watching the (previously) Live with Q&A making the leopard prints. Can I ask what kind of printer you're using? I saw in your previous video it's a Cannon, but is it inkjet or laserjet? It would have to be laserjet to stand up to the water based sealer, right?
@@FlynnSistersBoutique I have same printer. When I change settings to photo print it wants to use the little photo tray not the bottom feed. How did you change that?
Thank you so much Jessica for this demo. Super cute cup!! I have a maker. My print and cut even after calibration never lines up. Any suggestions other than me throwing it in the trash lol.
I know this is from awhile ago and hopefully you figured it out by now but if not have you made sure you have no direct light over your Cricut? If there is, the light can mess with the laser and calibration making for messy cuts that end up in the garbage :(
I used cricut printable vinyl and printed it with my printer, then cut it with my cricut so I could get an actual image, like a picture, instead of just a silhouette or outline. The green thing is the cutting mat that holds the paper in place while it cuts.

I am trying to understand the difference between when you are epoxy and when you do a clear coat as you mentioned. I don’t know how else to ask that question

So design space will send the image to your printer to print, then you place the printed material on your cutting mat and put that through your machine.
I personally haven't used that so i can't speak on it. I'm not sure if it would yellow over time. For sealing, i use quick coat and have also used rustolem 2x clear gloss.
I'm not sure i understand your comment. My guess of "bleed off" is to let the inkndry before you cut or handle your printable vinyl so it doesn't smudge. Transfer tape on printable vinyl would peel off the ink when you remove it.

Could you explain why you epoxy over the flowers before applying the decal? And what is the difference between the vinyl printed flowers and the decal?

Can’t wait!!!! I have been waiting since you did that live! love ❤️it!! The water base you used was it matte? Or gloss?
Quick coat only comes in like a semi gloss finish. If i were using Polycrylic instead I’d probably want to use a gloss
Flynn Sisters Boutique thanks love! 🧡❤️🧡❤️
Thank your for sharing. Do you have a video on how to cut the sunflowers on the vinyl setting after printing. Im more of a visual learner. Thanks
I thought we covered that in the video. You'd just select "custom" on your cricut then select "printable vinyl"
Thanks for the video.
I’m curious … if it’s not sealed with resin, will the colours run when washing? I’m guessing yes but I thought I’d ask :)
Yes. It has to be sealed under epoxy.

How did you go back and cut the vinyl out? Do you have to use registration marks?
Hi, loved your video. I was wondering what brand of clear coat did you put on the sunflowers before you put epoxy on it?
Counter Culture DIY Quick Coat
Hello! I m new at this. I want to do the print and cut with printable vinyl. Am I able to use my Epson inkjet printer? It is not a sublimation printer and it has not been converted into one. Thank you for any help and advice given 🙂
Your question is unclear to me. If you are using white printable vinyl sheets to print and cut on a tumbler, yes. You have to epoxy over that vinyl.
So you added epoxy after the sealer. Did you sand before adding the letters? Then another final coat of epoxy?
You don’t really have to seal it, just epoxy right after that and you only need to seal before decals if you epoxy is bumpy or something
Gorgeous
you don't have any of the products you used except for the vinyl, which quick coat did you use and where can it be purchased, other than that your video was good
