Happy Saturday! In today’s video, I’m sharing how I styled our living room for winter after the Christmas season. Decorating after Christmas can feel so empty so I make sure to integrate elements that help bring in the cozy factor to help transition the space. I hope you enjoy and thank you for watching!

Hey Sarah, your the only content creator that I’ve seen style like this for Winter decorating. Everyone else’s looks like a neutral reset or Spring. I love these also but Winter just started a couple weeks ago and it really gets the most cold here in Central Texas in Jan, Feb and even March! I’m not taking anything down except my Christmas trees. I mean I do neutral Christmas as it is! Anyways Thank you for that! Love all you do!
Yeah it’s unfortunate how strongly the winter season is attached to Christmas. It makes people banish anything wintery adjacent after the holidays are over, but winter doesn’t even end until March 19!
Yes! I can't get behind spring decorating when winter literally just started. I love what Sarah did. I also left my pine garland and small trees. It's still winter😂🤍🫶🏽

Sarah, I really love that you kept the warm, cozy and greenery. After all it is still winter! Everyone else seems to be erasing the fact that winter is really beginning not ending for most of us. Everything looks beautiful.
Right! I understand needing to tone it down but I just gets so bare as is! I need to transition myself 😅 even my husband begs me to keep the garland up longer he loves it

Thank u Sara for decorating n celebrating our winter season! We have snow in PA as does most of the USA! , I appreciate all that u do n for sharing your ideas n comfy, cozy home! Great video! I am leaving my pops of red up through Valentine’s Day n added my snow flakes, left up the pine trees, it’s all good, then I will just the pops of red down n leave the rest until March n I do spring! Will be nice to still enjoy it n not so much work all at one time in 30 degree weather here lol, works for us! I just pack away the merry Christmas signs, bows, packages, Santa’s n stuff that depicts Christmas until I have time to do it! I was happy to get some nice stuff I scored at after Christmas sales some I can use all year round, how did u make out Sara? Anyone else on here score some sales n great items after Christmas? I didn’t get much but it’s definitely the best time to buy it n was glad for the discount to change things up next year! 😊❤️🎁💕⭐️
This was one of the first years in quite some time I didn’t go after Christmas clearance shopping at all! Kind of wish I did but I’ve really been making an effort to not be out and about as much as I used to be plus we’ve been so busy with projects behind the scenes. You find anything good? I appreciate that you show leaving some winter decor. It is winter and I struggle with what to decorate with now. Next month I have a couple of family birthdays and Valentine's Day so I will add some red colors bsck in brfore early spring in March.

Thank you so much for helping me learn how to style Christmas vases! I learned how to do it from your Christmas styling video. They're certainly not perfect, but my family loved them during the holidays. Truth be told, my two vases are still out and I haven't changed them because they feature much of the same greenery that you have out now. I'll get sick of them, but not yet! I did "cheat" and buy a couple of live pretty pink and blush roses yesterday. I needed something other than evergreen-type decor as a pick-me-up!

*Earthy, Warm, Organic* . I love your styling, it's so my vibe as well. I live in Upstate NY and we are expecting our first major snow fall. I can't begin to think about Spring styling until March. My sofa and wing-back chairs are slip covered in a similar tone to yours. I will never again purchase printed fabric pieces because the neutrals make styling with textiles effortless. Faux fur throws and more of a variety of evergreen stems are on my wish list. The tree is down, a few garlands remain, tactfully restyled and fresh batteries added to the fairy lights. My soul desires my home interior reflect what I see going on outside in order to feel balanced and in harmony with nature. Thank you for great inspiration.

Everything is lovely the only thing I would think about doing is moving the stools away from the front of the fireplace to give a cozier look maybe with a basket or stool on the side with a throw on it.

I totally agree! I take down anything that looks like Christmas -( the few reds that I use), and love my winter decor, such as pinecones, white small wintery trees, snowmen, some snowflakes, etc. I live in Mi., and we have a lot of winter left. BTW: How do the faux fur throws wash and dry? I have some sweater type throws, and soft fleese, but no fur ones. Thanks for the great video.
Love winter decorating! 👏🏻❄️ for faux throws, I follow the washing instructions on the tags, but when it comes out of the washer immediately take it out and “brush” it with your hand kind of shaking it and the I put on fluff cycle in dryer
