PLANET COASTER 2 HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED! First look and speculation

- Well its finally happened! Planet Coaster 2 has been announced and is shaping up to be the sequel we've all been hoping for!
This video goes through what we know, looking into the trailer and other early information to get an understanding of what to expect when the game releases in Fall 2024. The main addition of water parks and swimming pools is an absolute game changer, with the scalable scenery and fully themeable rides and coaster trains pushing Planco 2 into a whole new level of creativity. This video will be the first of many talking about the game, along with speculating on features and things we'd like to see added to the game when it launches later this year. Anyways, I hope you guys are as excited as I am and enjoy this first look into Planet Coaster 2!

I am on my hands and knees, praying that they added switch and transfer tracks. They thought of drop tracks, so surely they thought of the others. Can't wait for the future videos on PC2!
Couldn’t agree more! All I want is to make an intamin blitz with a swing launch in the style of toutatis, with proper intamin track and lsm fins. I also will actually leave earth if there is not a Mack extreme spinner, PLEASE FRONTIER, PLEASE!!!!

And maintenance shed, maybe a limit the player can set for queue time when a second train should be on. I would love them to have trains and track get ordered and arrive to the park srpetately and design the ride in a blueprint mode
I hope they add a twinning/dueling feature that allows you to build coasters mirrored/simultaneously. The coaster chain they have is kinda clunky so it’d be nice if it was easier and didn’t require a setup.
I just hope the coasters are much smoother

this game looks promising! im just hoping that some other things we've been wanting (transfer tracks, tilt track, drop tracks) are in the game or at least apart of an update or DLC🤞🏽 excited for your videos in the game‼️
I really hope they add backwards seat, spinning seats. If that was a dlc I would pay my life savings!
That one ride you didn’t know what it was is a thrill or family Thrill ride. The Model is called Gryphon from the manufacturer Zamperla. It’s a very new model with the prototype for it opened in 2022 called Sky-bender at a park called Playland PNE in Vancouver Canada, and there is only one other one that is currently In existence, in wich I am familiar with, for it is at my home park Kennywood in Pittsburgh P.A. At kennywood it is called Spinvasion and it opened last year and or in 2023.

I am very certain the coaster in the top left of the wallpaper (13:00) is a Vekoma Tilt Coaster, unless its just a placeholder.
Pretty sure that’s just a turnaround before the drop shown at an angle that makes it look like it isn’t there
I love how they are adding more guests too! They are adding more skins colours to guests which I love! We need more characters because we normally see identical characters the same queue for a ride.
I really hope for the dive coaster they have the smaller train option

As one of the small amount of people that use FVD, I would love to have the possibility to set very precise angle for track piece (0,01° precision) but it might look to be a fantasy of me. It look to be the same editor so the transition should be possible if the track editor is really improve in term of smoothness. The possibility of making custom them train is cool.
This is extremely crazy news, I'm hoping you jump into this game when it comes out because this has so much potential!!

I just found out that on the 2 models of surf coaster shown in your video one has sort of a vest restraint and the other the traditional over the shoulder restraint….. if details really go this far just the train designs I´M REALLY SUPER HYPED

Frontier is a British company so it’s likely. Tbh I never understood why Americans call it “sun screen”, just makes me think of a TV or computer screen.
